I scheduled an appointment for a performance A/C check through their online system for a specific time. To be sure everything was set, I called the store to confirm, and they told me the appointment was confirmed with an expected wait time of 1–2 hours. I arrived on time and checked in with the person at the counter, who looked like she’d rather be anywhere else. Her tone was monotone, and her demeanor completely uninterested. After I gave her my information, she told me the wait would actually be 3–4 hours. I mentioned that I had just been told—less than 20 minutes ago—that the wait was only 1–2 hours. She responded by saying there was one person ahead of me. Then she casually mentioned that the performance check was basic and that if any additional diagnostics were needed, it would cost $130. Honestly, it felt like they didn’t want my business. Between extending the wait time and bringing up a $130 diagnostic fee right off the bat, it felt like they were trying to get me to walk out. What really struck me was the large quote they proudly display in the store: “I BELIEVE FUNDAMENTAL HONESTY IS THE KEYSTONE OF BUSINESS.” – Harvey Firestone, Founder The irony is, my experience was the complete opposite of that statement. Just an all-around disappointing visit.

Kayla is such a beautiful person! She is always a trusted & kind welcoming face when we come here to Firestone. She is always helpful and honest, doesn’t try to price gouge us or upsell us for unnecessary work. Highly, Highly recommended!!

Jeff (the service manager) was extremely helpful, he went above and beyond to answer all my questions and to give me the best prices the store can offer. I have nothing but good things to say about him and the location. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I had dealt with Kayla Hurst previously when she was at the Commercial St. store. I called to talk to her there and they informed me that she had moved to the Lancaster store. I went there and discussed an issue I was having with Honda Salem with their service. Kayla gave me a quote and it saved me very much money vs. Honda. As well, she told me some of the things Honda was trying to sell me, I did not need at this time. Please note, not once did she say anything negative about Honda. They completed my service yesterday afternoon and I will use them from now on. Kayla operates with the upmost integrity. It's really nice to work with someone you can trust!
