Firestone Complete Auto Care Introduce

Welcome to Firestone Complete Auto Care, located at 4625 Eastgate Blvd, Cincinnati, OH 45245, USA. As a well-known national chain operating within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations, Firestone Complete Auto Care aims to provide a comprehensive suite of automotive services and products to local users. This location in Cincinnati offers a range of services, including tire sales and installation, general auto repair, and routine maintenance. The customer reviews available online provide a mixed perspective on the service quality and customer experience at this particular branch.

Based on the limited customer feedback, it's challenging to form a definitive picture of the environment at this Firestone Complete Auto Care location. One positive review mentions a helpful staff member named Paul and the convenience of next-day service without an appointment, along with flexible service hours allowing for Friday drop-off and Sunday pick-up. This suggests a potentially accommodating and efficient service environment, at least in some instances. However, a contrasting negative review describes a frustrating experience involving a misdiagnosis, a subsequent change in diagnosis with a higher repair cost, and a feeling of being overcharged. This negative feedback raises concerns about the accuracy of diagnostics and the transparency of service recommendations. Therefore, while some aspects of the environment, such as service hours and potentially the helpfulness of certain staff members, might be positive, there are also potential issues related to diagnostic accuracy and pricing that local users should be aware of.

As a "Complete Auto Care" center, this Firestone location likely offers a wide array of automotive services, falling under the umbrella of an Auto Repair Station. Based on the brand's general offerings and the limited information from the reviews, these services likely include:

  • Tire Sales and Installation: As mentioned in the positive review, customers can purchase and have tires installed at this location. This likely includes a variety of tire brands and sizes to fit different vehicles.
  • General Automotive Repair: Addressing a broad range of mechanical and electrical issues, although the negative review highlights potential concerns about diagnostic accuracy in this area.
  • Routine Maintenance: Including services such as oil changes, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and scheduled maintenance to keep vehicles running smoothly.
  • Brake Service: Offering inspections, repairs, and replacements of brake components to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Battery Service: Including testing, charging, and replacement of car batteries.
  • Alignment Services: Ensuring proper wheel alignment for optimal tire wear and handling.
  • Heating and Cooling System Service: Maintaining and repairing vehicle air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Engine Diagnostics: Utilizing tools and expertise to identify and resolve engine-related problems, although the negative review suggests potential inconsistencies in this service.
  • Other potential services: Such as exhaust system repair, steering and suspension services, and more, typical of a full-service auto care center.

Features of Firestone Complete Auto Care typically include its nationwide presence, which can offer convenience for travelers and those who relocate. The potential for next-day service without an appointment, as mentioned in the positive review, could be a significant benefit for those with urgent needs. The reported flexible service hours, allowing weekend drop-off and pick-up, can also be advantageous for individuals with busy weekday schedules. However, the negative review raises concerns about the reliability of their diagnostics and the potential for upselling or misrepresentation of issues. Therefore, while the convenience and brand recognition are features, the inconsistency in service quality, as suggested by the contrasting reviews, is also a factor to consider.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. Firestone Complete Auto Care, as a national chain, often has ongoing promotions on tires, oil changes, and other services. These promotions can vary by location and time. Local users in Cincinnati are advised to check the official Firestone Complete Auto Care website for any national or local offers applicable to the Eastgate Blvd location. They may also want to inquire directly with the store via phone or in person about any current discounts, coupons, or special deals on tires, maintenance packages, or specific repair services. It's common for auto service centers to offer seasonal promotions or discounts related to specific maintenance needs.

In conclusion, Firestone Complete Auto Care at 4625 Eastgate Blvd in Cincinnati, OH, operates as a comprehensive Auto Repair Station offering a range of services, including tire sales and general auto repair. The customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one praising the helpful staff, quick service, and convenient hours, while the other expresses significant dissatisfaction with a potential misdiagnosis and concerns about being overcharged. This discrepancy highlights the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating service providers. While the Firestone brand offers national recognition and a wide array of services, local users may want to weigh the potential for convenient service against the reported issues with diagnostic accuracy and pricing transparency. It is recommended to research current promotions online or by contacting the store directly and potentially seek additional reviews or recommendations from other local users before making a decision regarding their auto care needs at this specific Firestone Complete Auto Care location.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Customer Reviews

Firestone Eastgate Mall Paul is awesome, got my truck done by next day, with no appointment, and I will be back in two weeks for tires. I do spread the word about your service hours too!! Love to drop off Friday and pick up Sunday. Thanks Paul and Crew! Good Job!

Brought my car in was told there was no oil leak it was my power steering hose that needed replaced. Got home next day same leak same place, brought my car back now its a oil leak (after being told it wasn’t an oil leak the first time), now they’re telling me this rear seal is pretty expensive to fix. Sounds like i was screwed just so you can get some extra money. Definitely wont recommend this place !

I set up an appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early. Was quoted $121 over the phone for tire rotation and balancing. Got there and they quoted about $200. I told them that’s not the price they quoted before and they tried to tell me it was $73 to rotate tires and $121 to do the balancing. Again I explained that’s not the amount I was quoted for both when I set the appointment. I didn’t let them do it. They are well over the national average for this work. I also noticed the parking lot empty at 3:30 on a Friday and no customers inside. Could be a reason I suspect.

Went in for an used car evaluation of a potential car to purchase. Had a maintenance light on before I got there which I already knew the code for as I had it tested the night before. The employee stated multiple times that he hated my type of car during my check in. Car was complete and told there wasn't anything wrong with it. I asked about the check coolant warning light and the maintenance light which were on to which he replied he didn't know they were on and would have them double check the car and the coolant level. During check out, I was told there were now 3 codes, 2 of which he couldn't tell me what the issue might be. Just how expensive it could be because of the car I brought in. To find out what it would be, we would have to do a deeper evaluation which would cost another $150. The paperwork I received via email said that I needed to replace the cabin filter but other parts of the paperwork says its fine, there is NO mention of any of the codes it supposedly had (including the 1 I knew it had) Only recommended oil change, coolant flush and spark plugs because they couldn't verify that when it was last serviced. All to which it would have been another $1,000.00. I may be a female, but I have helped work on cars all my life so I know my way around cars enough to know that there were no spark plug issues, they could have gave a quick look to see what they thought the other 2 supposed codes it now had might be. The entire experience left me feeling lied to and that either they weren't being through enough of the evaluation and more about selling things to be done to the car. Went to an Auto Repair shop in Milford and they told a better view of the car and I left there knowing what I should do about the vehicle. Extremely disappointed in this experience.

Don't waste your time here, I got 2 new tires and a lifetime alignment, the alignment was so-so, and I took it back there 9 months later to redo the alignment, they told me they couldn't do half of the alignment because it is a Volkswagen, and told me the 2 new tires that had 7,000 miles on them were not safe to drive on and need to be replaced, and they would not honor the 55,000 mile warranty because they can't align it properly, yet they were the ones who aligned it the day I bought the tires and sent me on my way without a word about it. To top it off, they punctured a hole in a CV boot a few inches away from where they were working. They claim it was already leaking, so I asked why they didn't tell me about it and want to fix it for me and make money, and they said, uhh well, we see that all the time, and we don't want to work on your car. Feels great to hear that! Would have been a lot better if they would have told me up front they don't want to work on my car instead of wasting my time and money, yet, they left me with a quote for 2 new much higher priced tires and said I should schedule a coolant and brake fluid exchange. No mention of grease flung everywhere inside the wheel well and all over the tire and brake rotor. I got a quote on fixing the CV boot from another Firestone location, cost is $570.07, and they said if they see a leaking CV boot, they would absolutely let the customer know. My car is worse off and less safe than before I took it to them. I have a large family that would always go to Firestone, but seems they are on the downhill.
