Firestone Complete Auto Care

Manager Nate was very helpful on my recent visit, but this still needs to be addressed. In the past I have been to other Firestone locations, but this visit has to be the worst one that I ever had. My appointment was at 2PM for an alignment and tire rotation and I was even there about 4 or 5 minutes early and checked in, mind you I drove 37 miles to get here. 2 hours go by and my car still wasn't in the bay to get the work done, so I had to get up and say something. It turns out that it appears they forgot to give my work order to a tech to start it...frustrating as all can be. Not only that, but half of the work was complete, they only took my car to the alignment rack and didn't rotate the tires, so I had to speak to Nate about that. He didn't get a clear answer from the tech that did the alignment if the tires were rotated on it or not, which I didn't see that they were. He sent another tech out to check my tread depths and explained that they were where they should be, and that I can still have the tires rotated if I wanted, but his explanation made sense and since I was there wasting 2 ½ hours of my afternoon, I decided to leave it as is to carry on the rest of my day. Again, I appreciate Nate's professionalism and being frustrated about the situation with me, but this was ridiculous. I have never had this experience at other locations that I have been to so my return to this location is honestly questionable. Edit: Additionally, after writing that review, I have discovered that I do not believe my alignment was done correctly. It appears that the steering wheel may be crooked when I am driving down the road and it does not feel right as it did before I went in for this work, so I am ultimately going to need to bring the car back to have this looked at again and corrected.

Nothing but great things to say about this location. They were fast to get me in and fixed my Jeep issues with no hassle. They were able to replace my starter and install a new oil filter housing unit. The store manager, Nathan Miller, couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. I had issues with my Firestone card processing and Nathan was able to help with the issue at hand. Couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. I will not take my Jeep anywhere else. The customer service, knowledge and expertise this store has is top notch.

Although everything was done correctly and I do appreciate the attention to detail with the tires and alignment, the overall time it took to install 4 tires and set alignment was too long. My appointment was at 7 am. I arrived at 7am. My car wasn’t ready until after 12. I was told it would be done by 10 and I was not impressed by that estimate but then it took 2 more hours. I am pretty understanding when it comes to service work but 5 hours for a tire change and alignment is unfortunate.

This location is terrible.. first time ever to a tire shop and for as long as I can physically put my own tires on I will… it took them 2.5 hours to just pull my truck in the shop. I had to go inside and bird dog the gentleman putting tires on my truck I even helped him but I can only help as fast as he puts the tires on the rims… absolutely terrible service… when it was all said and done my truck was there for 4.5 hours and I only had 4 tires mounted and balanced… if you guys need I can show you how to do it faster without using the machine. There was no excuse for you guys to be so slow…..I will never be using a Firestone tire shop for as long as I live. And it puts a bad tase in my mouth for all tire shops I will do my own

Went in for oil change, wiper blade replacement, & headlight bulb (simple car maintenance). I was told headlight bulb not in stock but they would check with stores in the area (no problem). Waited FOUR hours in lobby for oil change & wiper blades to be replaced. Heard employees yelling/arguing. When paying, I was told by a 2nd person they didn’t even know about the headlight needing done so no one called around. They also stated I needed a new battery, which I just had done 9 months prior at the same location. They said they would replace battery under warranty. So now I question 1. if battery even needed replaced, and 2. If they even did replace it after saying they would. Lastly, the 2nd person stated they would call by this morning with an update on getting a headlight bulb. They never called. Ended up ordering one myself online. I’ve gone here 4 times and never waited less than 2 hours for service - even if just for an oil change. Employees always arguing too.

I scheduled over a week prior for an oil change. And on that call to schedule the appointment, I verified that they would be able to form the oil change on a mini Cooper. My appointment was first thing in the morning, but it was almost an hour before they took my car back, and I was there for a total of almost 4 hours for an oil change. I was told that the appointment took so long because they had to get the filter even though I verified the make and model over a week prior.

I scheduled my appointment for 4 tires, oil change, wiper blade, alignment I even bought the lifetime alignment. I told the store manager I can pick it up by end of day. I didn’t get a call I had to call to see if it was done and it was an hour after closing. When I got to the store I was told they didn’t adjust the camber because they didn’t have the time. I dropped it off at 8am in the morning and gave them until 5pm on Sunday to get it done. The whole reason I needed tires was due to the vehicle being out of alignment and all they did was adjust the toe and left the camber way out. I even asked them to replace my rear pinion seal and service the rear end which the store manager “forgot” I asked him to do that. The rear end service alone takes about an hour to do and they had my vehicle all day.

I took my brother in yesterday to go pick up his car that has been sitting there for a MONTH now!! We were told the day before it was ready, so we showed up only to be told it wasn’t ready?? (Mind you they’ve had it for a month now and someone called and said it was ready and confirmed it was the same car over the phone) only to tell us it’s not once we get there. So I asked Austin for a ETA on the car and he was super rude !!! Refused to answer my question and claimed he had already “talked to someone on the phone about it and I should ask them”. Super rude and they really take there time with your vehicles, they could care less if you need to get to work or if that’s the only car you have. Unless you want to be waiting a RIDICULOUS amount of time find someplace else ! I found a place in Gambier! I like them a lot more. Whole different company.

I recommend the Firestone in Mount Vernon to anyone! I walked in with no appointment and Auston Colopy accommodated me for out of state traveling for a family funeral. They were very honest and straight forward. Big thanks to the Firestone team and especially Austin!
