Traveled almost 2hrs away to visit this location. Well worth it. Great place. Staff and overall atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Everyone we met with was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. No pressure or influencing at all. If your thinking about purchasing or looking at a vehicles. I had an appointment for periodic inspection, oil change and tire rotation at Firelands Honda (formerly Victory Honda) in Sandusky, Ohio. The invoice number is #219356 and date of service was 3/8/2024. Part of the inspection I asked them to check the car battery, which was replaced about 8 months ago with a new honda factory battery made by Honda Corporate, it is a genuine Honda part made by Honda. The battery since I bought it several months ago, has been replaced at least three times with what I was told is a brand new battery, because my car will have trouble starting and when I bring it in, as the most recent visit 3/8/2024, they show me the battery test and that the battery, which they had replaced on the last visit, was bad again. I am not satisfied with the Honda batteries I am receiving, I should not need three new batteries in less than one year. I want a full refund of the cost I paid for the battery, so I can buy a different brand car battery somewhere else that actually works. If Firelands Honda cannot meet this simple request, I have driven Honda for over 20 years, I will look elsewhere to take my business. Also, I had asked them about the CarDoc program I purchased through them and was told they would honor it, including the 12% discount on uncovered service/parts. They told me they would not, after they said they would AND they failed to tell me I still have another brake service on my plan that is unused, that is valued at a few hundred dollars. If they cannot honor what I paid for, I want a prorated check written to me for the services they refuse to honor. With the batteries that don't work and the brake service I estimate it to be about $600.
