Took My vehicle to the five months ago to fix a check engine light. You would think it his pervious repair would have covered something with the same parts replaced. Never again!!

He let's other people drive your car while it's at his shop. He lies about what repairs he's done. He never wants to give receipts probably because he's not paying taxes. He didn't call us before he started work on out truck. He just came up with a cost of $2400, but couldn't tell us what he did that cost so much. Liar and cheater. DON'T GO HERE.

Escalante fixed one part on my van; my van had a new rattling noise when he finished. He told me to come back so he could fix the rest. (Maybe that would take care of the new noise?) I call and he's always "busy", says he will call me back but never does. I call again and he wants me to leave the van because he doesn't know exactly what time he can look at it. Fine. I left my van, hours later they said they looked at it but couldn't find anything wrong with it. What?! Mind you, my van was in the exact same spot where I dropped it off which means they did not even take it for a test drive. The "O/D OFF" light is flashing, it's making a tinny rattling sound and leaking fluid but you can't find what's wrong with it?! They told me to bring it back and they will have to lift it up to see what's wrong with it. Why didn't you do that in the first place?! Isn't that why I left my van with you? I called this morning and he told me he's busy, to bring the van in next week! Very unprofessional! They just give you the runaround, want you to leave your van there for days and they will possibly get to it. I guess you get what you pay for. Taking my business elsewhere!

Absolute fraud, I had been going to him for several years for small fixes, i always stayed at the shop while he fix my car. Recently, I purchased both front and back breaks/rotors from Amazon after confirming with him if he can install. He pursuaded to leave the car with him, he will install as soon he is free, and asked $120 to do the job. It was my mistake I trusted him, when I picked the car at night he charged me $240, after lots of debate I paid him double the original promised price. Next day, my car was making loud scratching noise, i took it back and he refused to check, saying it could be shocks or bearings that went bad. The breaks continued to make loud noise every time i applied breaks. I took the car to another mechanic and found he never replaced any rotors and instead of ceramic break pads i purchased from Amazon he used some cheapest breakpads from Autozone, to hide his theft he installed some used brake covers sp no one can see what’s inside. He not only kept the original items with him and charged me double the amount, on top of that he did not even apply any grease on the break parts while installing cheap parts. Posting it publicly so no one else get defrauded and loose $$ in getting other unrelated car issues caused by him.

Shady as hell mechanic. This guy doesn't give paper estimates nor does he accept credit cards. He's ripped my dad off multiple times. He wants you to leave your car with him for multiple days (even for small jobs). I honestly think he messes up other parts of your car before he gives it back to you. All 3 times my dad got work done from him, there was another huge unrelated issue a few days later. Take my advice and stay away from this mechanic!
