E3 Autowerks Introduce

For individuals in Harriman, TN, considering automotive services or vehicle purchases, E3 Autowerks operates within the broad "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, though its services appear to extend to vehicle sales as well. Located at 2328 Bluff Rd, Harriman, TN 37748, USA, this establishment aims to cater to various automotive needs. They can be reached by phone at (865) 964-7651 or via mobile at +1 865-964-7651.

Understanding the Auto Repair Stations Category with a Dual Focus

The "Auto Repair Stations" category traditionally encompasses businesses that provide maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services for vehicles. This can range from routine oil changes and tire services to complex engine or transmission repairs. E3 Autowerks, based on the provided customer reviews, appears to also operate as a vehicle dealership, selling used cars. This dual role means they might offer an integrated approach where a customer could purchase a vehicle and also rely on the same establishment for its subsequent servicing. For local users, such a facility theoretically offers convenience by consolidating buying and servicing needs under one roof. However, the nature of services can vary significantly between a dedicated repair shop and one that also sells cars.

Environment and Facilities

Specific details about the physical environment and facilities of E3 Autowerks are not provided in the available information. Generally, an establishment functioning as both an auto repair station and a car dealer would likely have distinct areas for each operation. This would include a sales lot for showcasing vehicles for sale, a customer reception area, and dedicated service bays for performing repairs and maintenance. The condition and organization of these areas can influence customer perception. While one review mentions "Echo and friends" implying a potentially warm or personalized atmosphere, the conflicting nature of the reviews makes it difficult to objectively describe the overall environment without direct information.

Services and Goods for Sale

Based on the customer reviews, E3 Autowerks provides at least two primary types of services/goods:

  • Vehicle Sales: One customer explicitly mentions buying a "Cadillac Escalade from them a few weeks ago." This indicates that E3 Autowerks functions as a dealership, selling used vehicles to the public.
  • Automotive Repair and Maintenance: The second review pertains directly to a "car repair," specifically a "transmission" issue. This confirms their role as an "Auto Repair Station," providing services for diagnosing and fixing vehicle malfunctions. While the exact breadth of their repair services (e.g., engine, brakes, general maintenance) is not detailed, the focus on a significant component like the transmission suggests a capacity for complex mechanical work.

The combination of these offerings suggests that they aim to be a comprehensive automotive solution provider for local users, from the point of purchase to ongoing maintenance and repair.

Key Features and Customer Experiences

The customer reviews for E3 Autowerks present a highly contrasting picture, making an objective assessment of their features complex:

Positive Customer Experience:
  • Pleasant Vehicle Purchase Experience: The first review expresses extreme satisfaction with a car purchase: "I am extremely happy and very pleased with my vehicle. They are very nice people and the whole deal went great!" This highlights a positive sales process, suggesting good customer interaction and a satisfying product (the Escalade).
  • Friendly Staff: The sales experience was characterized by "very nice people" and specifically mentions "Keaton" and "Me and Lee really appreciate doing business with you!" This points to a friendly and personable approach in their sales interactions.
  • Unique Customer Service Team: The playful mention of "Echo and friends" (within quotation marks, suggesting an internal reference or possibly even pets) hints at a relaxed and memorable customer service dynamic, at least from the perspective of one happy buyer.
Negative Customer Experience:
  • Failed Repair and Immediate Malfunction: In stark contrast, the second review details a severe failure in the repair service: "I left thinking my car was fixed only for it to leak all of the transmission fluid out literally on my drive home and say 'transmission malfunction.'" This is a critical issue, indicating that the repair was either incomplete or improperly performed, leading to immediate and dangerous vehicle failure.
  • Lack of Accountability and Follow-up: The customer's attempt to resolve the issue was met with poor response: "Mike said he didn't know that I just would have to bring it back." More critically, the promise to call back with "prices on what it may be" was not fulfilled: "Did I get a call?? Nope. He took his 700 cash and that was the end of that." This demonstrates a significant breakdown in customer service, follow-up, and accountability after a payment was made for an apparently failed repair.
  • Disregard for Customer Property: The presence of "bolts that were left in my passenger seat, (let alone the soda bottles)" indicates a lack of care for the customer's vehicle and an unprofessional approach to the workspace. This reflects poorly on the attention to detail and respect for customer property.
  • Call for Integrity and Resolution: The customer directly appeals to the owner to "step up with some dignity and do the right thing," which underscores a perceived lack of integrity and a failure to rectify a service error. This is a very strong and direct criticism of their post-service responsibility.

These conflicting reviews suggest that while their vehicle sales department might offer a positive experience, their repair services, at least in one significant instance, have led to severe dissatisfaction due to poor quality of work and a lack of accountability.

Promotional Information

Based solely on the provided customer feedback, the promotional information for E3 Autowerks is also contradictory:

  • Positive Word-of-Mouth for Sales: The first review acts as strong organic promotion for their vehicle sales, highlighting customer happiness with a purchase and the pleasant dealing with staff like Keaton. Phrases like "extremely happy and very pleased" are highly valuable for attracting sales leads.
  • Customer Service as a Differentiator (Contradictory): While one reviewer highlights "customer service team aka 'Echo and friends'" as a positive, the second review strongly contradicts this, stating, "It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE people. An attempt SHOULD have been made to make things right with me and that did not happen, so I will not recommend you-period." This significant disparity means potential customers cannot rely on a consistent promotional message regarding customer service.
  • Lack of Trust for Repairs: The second review, if widely known, would act as a highly detrimental piece of "anti-promotional" information for their repair services. Accusations of being a "Ripoff," taking "700 cash" without fixing the problem, and a complete failure to follow up after a major vehicle malfunction would deter potential repair customers.

In conclusion, E3 Autowerks in Harriman, TN, operates as an "Auto Repair Station" that also sells vehicles. While their vehicle sales department, as evidenced by one positive review, appears capable of providing a "great" deal with friendly staff, their automotive repair services have received a severe negative review concerning a transmission repair that immediately failed, followed by a lack of follow-up and perceived dishonesty. For local users, this presents a complex picture. Those considering purchasing a vehicle might find a satisfactory experience, but those seeking repair services, particularly for critical components like transmissions, would need to proceed with extreme caution and might want to seek additional, more consistent positive feedback regarding their repair capabilities and post-service accountability. The highly contradictory reviews suggest a potential inconsistency in service quality between different aspects of their business or different customer interactions.

I am sorry as the owner's son was a very nice guy but I am very displeased with my service. I left thinking my car was fixed only for it to leak all of the transmission fluid out literally on my drive home and say "transmission malfunction." I called back to tell them this as well as question the bolts that were left in my passenger seat, (let alone the soda bottles) and Mike said he didn't know that I just would have to bring it back. I asked him how much this would cost and he said he would get a few prices on what it may be and call me back. Did I get a call?? Nope. He took his 700 cash and that was the end of that. It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE people. An attempt SHOULD have been made to make things right with me and that did not happen, so I will not recommend you-period. Further, if you are the owner reading this and it's the first you are hearing of it then step up with some dignity and do the right thing, and I will update my review accordingly.

Michael and Keaton are the only people I trust with my vehicles. I have bought a couple of cars from them very reliable and honest sellers.

My car broke down on a vacation. This father and son business went out of their way to help us out. I appreciate their expertise and their help during a frustrating experience. I highly recommend them.
