Chris @ Durand Transmisson was super helpful and knowledgeable! Got me right in to evaluate my truck. While my issue wasn't trans related after all, he helped find me some answers! I'll definitely be back if the need arises!

I’m from Ontario, my van broke down travelling to visit daughter n family in Lennon. My son n law took it to Durand - they got it in right away and tranny was replaced - picked up a day earlier than expected. Great service travelled back to Ontario without any issues.

I contacted Chris about an issue with the transmission in my motorhome. After giving him all the specific and pertinent information about my rig (transmission model, size of the motorhome, chassis make, etc., we agreed that it would be prudent to visit the shop and diagnose the problem. A few phone calls and days later my wife was able to drive the rig to the shop (I was at jury duty). I had called Chris earlier in the day and told him that she was coming later in the day and after calling ahead to let them know she was coming he wasn't there when she arrived. Further, there was no good place to park while she waited for him. She ended up driving to an abandoned restaurant parking lot less than a half-block away. When Chris returned he gave her a little "grief" about not calling ahead. When he was informed that she did call ahead but it went to voicemail, he said that's because he wasn't there. Then he resisted walking the short distance to the rig to check it out. He finally relented, brought a tape measure with him and determined that, again despite being made well aware in advance how big the motorhome was, it wouldn't fit in his shop or on his hoist. He should have just said that upfront in our initial conversations! Instead, he cost me precious time that I can ill afford in getting my rig repaired and on the road.
