Driven PDR Introduce

Driven PDR, located at 1815 Blanchard Ave in Findlay, OH 45840, operates within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations, focusing on a specialized area of vehicle repair known as Paintless Dent Repair (PDR). PDR is a method of removing minor dents and dings from the body of a motor vehicle without the need for traditional body filler or repainting. This technique can be used on a variety of panel damage, such as hail damage, door dings, minor creases, and small dents. To provide a comprehensive introduction for local users, it is crucial to analyze the available customer reviews, which present contrasting experiences with Driven PDR.

One customer recounts a negative experience following a dent repair on their 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They brought their vehicle to Driven PDR in Findlay specifically to address a dent in the driver’s door. While the customer acknowledges that "the dent has disappeared," they report a significant and concerning outcome: "a huge scratch is now in the door just below where the dent was." According to the reviewer, this scratch was not present before the repair. Upon picking up the Jeep, their husband was allegedly informed by an employee that the scratch was already there, a statement the customer vehemently disputes. The consequence of this alleged damage is that the customer now faces additional expense to have the scratch repaired to prevent potential rust. The review concludes with a strong condemnation of Driven PDR, stating that the business "refuses to make this right" and that the customer "would not recommend this business to anyone," even suggesting that leaving the original dent untouched would have been preferable to the result of their repair. This account raises serious concerns about the potential for unintended damage during the PDR process and the company's approach to resolving such issues.

In stark contrast, another reviewer, identifying as a service advisor for a local collision shop, offers a highly positive assessment of Driven PDR. This professional states that they "use Driven PDR often for our hail claims and painless dent repairs." They specifically commend "Jamie," presumably the owner or a key technician, as "hands down the best PDR specialist in Northwest Ohio." This endorsement from someone within the automotive repair industry carries significant weight, suggesting a high level of skill and expertise in the PDR technique. The service advisor concludes by affirming their continued use of Driven PDR's services and their willingness to "recommend him to anyone!" This review highlights the potential for exceptional quality and expertise in paintless dent repair provided by Driven PDR.

Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to definitively describe the environment of Driven PDR. The positive review from the service advisor suggests a professional and reputable operation trusted by industry peers. This might imply a well-equipped workshop suitable for performing PDR effectively. However, the negative review raises concerns about the care taken with vehicles and the potential for damage. Without further information, it is difficult to ascertain the typical environment and working conditions at Driven PDR.

Based on the platform category and the nature of paintless dent repair, the services offered by Driven PDR primarily focus on the removal of minor dents and dings without repainting. These services likely include:

  • Paintless Dent Repair (PDR): The core service, addressing dents caused by hail, door dings, minor collisions, and other impacts.
  • Hail Damage Repair: A common application for PDR, especially in regions prone to hailstorms.
  • Minor Crease Removal: Addressing elongated dents or creases in vehicle panels.
  • Potentially Interior Trim Removal and Reinstallation: Accessing the backside of damaged panels often requires temporary removal of interior components.
  • Assessment and Consultation: Evaluating the feasibility of PDR for specific damage and providing estimates.

The features of Driven PDR, as perceived through the contrasting customer reviews, present a mixed picture:

  • Expertise in PDR (according to one reviewer): Jamie is described as the best PDR specialist in Northwest Ohio.
  • Potential for Damage During Repair (according to another reviewer): Leading to additional costs for the customer.
  • Dispute Resolution Concerns (according to one reviewer): Refusal to take responsibility for alleged damage.
  • Service Used by Collision Shops (according to one reviewer): Indicating professional recognition within the industry.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, based on the nature of PDR services, Driven PDR might attract local users through:

  • Specialization in PDR: Highlighting their expertise in this specific repair method.
  • Potential Cost Savings: PDR is often less expensive and faster than traditional bodywork.
  • Preservation of Original Paint: A key benefit of PDR that maintains the vehicle's factory finish.
  • Partnerships with Local Body Shops or Insurance Companies: As suggested by the service advisor's review.
  • Before and After Photos: Showcasing successful dent removals.
  • Mobile Service Options (if available): Offering on-site repairs for convenience.
  • Free Estimates: Providing assessments of damage and repair costs.

Given the significant discrepancy in customer experiences, local users considering Driven PDR might want to seek additional feedback or clarification regarding their service process and damage liability policies. The strong endorsement from a collision shop professional suggests a high level of technical skill, but the negative experience reported by another customer raises concerns about potential risks and customer service in the event of issues.

In conclusion, Driven PDR in Findlay, OH, specializes in paintless dent repair services. While one customer praises their expertise and recommends them highly, another reports a negative outcome involving additional damage and a lack of resolution. This contrast underscores the importance for potential customers to weigh these differing perspectives. Driven PDR may offer high-quality PDR services, as indicated by its use by a local collision shop, but the potential for unintended damage and the handling of resulting customer complaints appear to be areas of concern based on the available reviews. Local users should consider these points when deciding whether to utilize the services of Driven PDR.

Driven PDR Customer Reviews

We took our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Driven PDR in Findlay today for a dent repair in my driver’s door. The dent has disappeared but a huge scratch is now in the door just below where the dent was. When my husband picked up the Jeep he was told by the employee that the scratch was there. This was not true. Now I will have to pay even more money to have this fixed to prevent rust damage. Driven PDR refuses to make this right. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I would have been better off to have left the dent alone than to have them repair it.

I had a friend of mine from Upper Sandusky refer me to Driven PDR in Findlay. I brought my 2012 Ford Fusion to Jamie at Driven PDR last September. He removed 2 dents from the front of my hood. Then I took my car back to him 2 weeks later and he also removed a sideswipe crease from my driver's side quarter panel. I was very impressed with the work Jamie did and in such a timely manner. His quality is top notch. If I ever need any work done in the future I would gladly come back here.

My husband had a dent in the driver’s side rear door of his Jeep about the size of a half dollar. I had one on the same door on my Subaru about the size of a quarter. Both dents are completely gone with no trace of ever existing. Definitely would use again for any dent work!

This is the second vehicle that Jamie has gotten a dent out for us. He does great work! Cannot tell there was ever a dent. Highly recommended!
