DK Hardee Automotive - a Main Street Auto shop Introduce

Located at 4327 Butch Suggs Ln, Fayetteville, NC 28306, USA, DK Hardee Automotive - a Main Street Auto shop aims to serve the local Fayetteville community with a range of automotive repair and maintenance services. The facility can be reached at (910) 776-5268 or via mobile at +1 910-776-5268. Operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, this establishment is intended to be a destination for various vehicle-related needs, from routine upkeep to more complex mechanical diagnoses and repairs. They position themselves as a comprehensive auto repair and tire shop.

The environment at DK Hardee Automotive, like many auto repair stations, is typically characterized by a functional and operational setup. Customers would expect to find a reception area for checking in and discussing vehicle issues, leading into a garage area equipped with lifts, diagnostic tools, and various machinery necessary for automotive work. The focus of such an environment is on the technical execution of repairs. Online information suggests a commitment to a professional workspace, equipped with the tools and technology to service a wide range of vehicles, including domestic, Asian, and European models. However, specific details regarding customer waiting areas or amenities are not prominently highlighted in available information. The operational environment is designed to facilitate the various repair processes, from oil changes and tire services to more intricate engine and transmission work. The emphasis is typically on efficiency in handling vehicles through the different stages of service.

As a business categorized under "Auto Repair Stations," DK Hardee Automotive offers a broad spectrum of services to address various vehicle needs. Their offerings include general automotive maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups, which are crucial for maintaining vehicle performance and extending its lifespan. They provide comprehensive tire services, encompassing inspection, rotation, repair, and replacement. Brake services, including regular inspection, service, and repair, are also a staple. Furthermore, they handle suspension and alignment issues, from minor adjustments to complex repairs. For more significant mechanical problems, DK Hardee Automotive offers engine repair and transmission repair, which can involve diagnosis, rebuilding, or replacement. They also address battery and electrical system issues, including testing and replacement of components. Online information suggests an ability to diagnose vehicles "from tire to tailpipe." They also highlight expertise in Ford repair, indicating a capability with common domestic brands. While the full scope of services aims to be comprehensive, customer experiences suggest that the execution of these services may vary. They state a capability to service "all makes and models" and use "latest tools and technology."

The stated features of DK Hardee Automotive include a commitment to transparency, honesty, and integrity, with a focus on providing "quality workmanship" and "exceptional service." They aim to have "highly personable, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly they're forthright" staff. The company indicates that it has "experts" with "years of experience" to provide the "extraordinary service" that vehicles deserve. They highlight that they "only do the work that is needed to fix your problem." They also mention being a "local trusted shop" and offering services for "most makes & models." Online reviews also mention the presence of a "friendly dog on site" in some instances, which might contribute to a perception of a homely feel. However, it is crucial to note that customer experiences vary significantly. While some reviews praise staff for being "friendly," "honest," and "helpful," others express severe dissatisfaction, citing issues such as prolonged repair times (e.g., "over a YEAR" for a car, "3 months for a roof repair"), vehicles returned in non-functioning or worse condition, alleged damage to parts during service (e.g., "totally destroying my transmission," "cracked my grill, O2 sensors"), and poor communication or "rude" customer service. The discrepancy in reviews suggests that while the business aims for high standards, consistent delivery of these features may be an area where customers have had mixed outcomes. The company response to one negative review indicates a stance that damage might be due to "physical impact, not a failure of materials or workmanship."

Regarding promotional information, DK Hardee Automotive, as a Main Street Auto shop, does offer some promotions which are typically visible on their website. These can include general discounts such as "Save more on the services your vehicle needs." Specific examples of past or current promotions include: Oil Service discounts, which might include up to 6 quarts of synthetic blend oil and a Service Champ oil filter, typically requiring the offer to be mentioned at the time of write-up and not combinable with other offers. They also advertise discounts on wheel alignments, such as "20% off any alignment." Beyond monetary discounts, they offer "Everyday Value" features like a "Second Opinion" where customers can bring in a competitor's estimate, and a "Free Tire Check" which includes free tire pressure checks and air refills with every service. They also highlight financing options through Synchrony, allowing customers to "Service Now, Pay Later." These promotions are designed to attract new customers and provide value to existing ones. However, as with all service-based businesses, customers are advised to confirm the validity and terms of any promotions directly with the shop before committing to service, particularly in light of varied customer feedback regarding overall service experience and pricing transparency.

DK Hardee Automotive - a Main Street Auto shop Customer Reviews

Let's start with the fact that they had my S6 for over a YEAR. It was returned in a non functioning condition. Now Let's talk about the TOTALLY DESTROYING MY transmission. Mike from Triangle European called ne this morning to inform that the transmission pan was fun of metal and plastic. We settled out of court, but that was BEFORE I knew my transmission had been destroyed as well as a $2500 upgraded clutch pack. Mind Mike is an AUDI TECHNICIAN. The car is NOT put back together, they cracked my grill, O2 sensors and othe various parts still in the truck, killed my battery. At the end of the day this was a total crap show. Now I'm out thousands off dollars just to get the car running. Now let's talk about so called customer service. Curt. Rude, and just a horrible person in general. Claimed someone from corporate had called me. No one called. I asked for a phone number and he says, "I'm not going to give you her number so that you can harass her". Mind you I recorded it. So I'd love for him to deny it. Finally, I asked, "Had I not already have paid you, do you think that I would accept the car in its current condition and pay you, yes or no?" Couldn't get an answer. There are some good people that work. However AVOID Curt, he's grown toddler that has no business interacting with paying customers.

Friendly staff but crappy work. Truck was in the shop for 3 months for a roof repair and some other work. The other work was done in 2 months and the roof took an extra month a total of 3. 3 weeks after getting the truck back the clearance lights went out and the front of the roof started cracking (appears the wrong metal was used). One week after that the cracks spread, air got in there and ONLY the portion of the roof DK HARDEE worked on pealed back like a sardine can. 3 months a $6,332.53 later I'm in a worst position then I started. P.S. DK HARDEE Rep states "Please understand that the metal used was specifically selected for its weather and wind resistance. Based on the type of damage shown, it appears to be the result of a physical impact, not a failure of materials or workmanship." Please see pictures provided, at the time we were covering the holes with tape to avoid water damage to freight. Black tape is front of truck pealed back to front to show NO collision damage.

The truck section gave me and my husband the best experience I’ve ever had over the years of automotive service. The knowledge and professionalism that was given to us I would give them 10 stars if I could. The kindness and smiles truly made our day. Rick, Rachel and Charles you guys rock! I will be telling all my friends and family to please check you guys out. I pray this business stay around for many more years to come. Thank you for all the work, my husband truck runs so good…

DK Hardee's people are very professional, kept me informed on every step of the diagnostic of my Ford Escape. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs work done especially electrical diagnostic work. They are great. Thanks.

Never again. So can anyone tell me of a shop who can give you a diagnostic and quote ($4k) in less than an hour, but needs a day to figure out while a key fob does not work from a CAS that the same show installed? The key fob did not work properly when I paid and picked up the car. I was asked to bring the car back to the shop the following week, which I did. I was then told that I brought the car too late to the shop, and that I would need to leave it overnight; for a key fob that does not have keyless feature. I was told diagnostics can take up to three hours and nothing on my car can be fixed in 10 minutes (Lie! You can change the air cabin filter and engine filter in ten minutes or less) The passive aggressive management seems to think because a person brings a car in for repairs means the person does not know, cars. Maybe it was convenient bringing to your shop? To ASSume a person does know his or her car is arrogant, and quite rude. I was accused of being “aggressive” when I said I would bring it back but the problem needed to be fix. I am not coming back your shop. You may not be shady, but your shop comes across that way. I will never recommend you to anyone. I gave you two stars because the car is operational, but your service was mediocre.
