DI-CAP Underwater Boat Recovery Customer Reviews

Was on the river in Parker this weekend when I launched my DJI drone off the back of the boat as I've done a hundred times before, except this time something when wrong and instead of going up it went down. Down in 20 feet of water. I was bummed and had almost given up on it when I decided to see if there was someone who does underwater recovery. So I called DI-CAP and spoke with Charlie, who assured me that they would be able to help and that he's been doing this for more years than I could imagine. So after getting the cost I agreed and within a hour or so they picked me up in their boat and we went to the area I lost the drone. After several attempts and passes up and down the river in the area I thought it was, we couldn't find it so we called it a day. I had given up hope of finding it and accepted I never will. But not them, they said they would be back in the morning and pick me up at 7 am to search again. So the next morning I had refined the search area from GPS data I had from the drone before it sank and we set off to that location, in the second pass to my surprise I see the diver come up out of the water with the drone in his hands. I was completely shocked and surprised that he found it. In 20 feet of water at the bottom within the grass. I couldn't believe it. Now I know most people would think why bother and that it's never going to fly again, it's not about the drone or how much money I have invested in it or how much it costs to find it. It's the pictures and videos I had in the memory card I care about. And the cost to recover it was minimal that's to Charlie and his brother. They never gave up, and went above and beyond what anyone else would do to find my drone. I am grateful to have found such great people that are genuinely interested in helping others recover items they've lost in the river. Thank you DI-CAP. I appreciate you guys and am fortunate to have met you. God bless.
