Daniel Crower Racing

Dan started offering a cam for the new Harley CVO 121. He clearly stated it was a bolt in cam that can use stock lifters and pushrods. Well after installing and starting the bike, the cam chest made noise. Upon taking it apart, we find that the lifter was hitting the cam position ring on the cam. This could not be seen with the cam plate installed. When speaking to Dan, he mentioned that he was aware of this happening as he cuts the base circle on the cam. He said he should have cut the ring down to avoid this issue and that he would accept the cam back to repair. Well I have news, if the base circle is cut, stock pushrods cannot be used, they must be adjustable, but that’s not why my bike is damaged. It’s damaged because the lifter hit the position ring.HE DID NOT CUT THE RING AS HE IS SUPPOSED TO. The lifter is destroyed, the motor to my 42000.00, 1100 mile CVO is littered with metal, and I no longer have a warranty. To add even more, I paid my Harley dealer 1197.32 to tear it down to find the problem. I asked him to at least cover the teardown expense. His response is that this cam is a new design and offered me my money back for the cam, that’s it. He and his company caused a VERY SERIOUS SITUATION and he has totally dismissed what he did. What a shame this guy does to the Crower name. His father’s name is getting ruined by him. BEWARE

From the first email inquire I submitted after business hours, I received a personalized response from Mr.Crower himself. He was able to answer all my questions I had. I even asked about a potential up sale for them and I was given a honest answer. Thank you Dan. I dropped off my bike and was greeted by his son who went over my questions I had and let me in on a little bit of back round of their business. I'm glad to have met a honest local business that is able to devote their time to speak and engage with their customer. Thank you and I hope for a speedy recovery for Mr.Crower. I'm looking forward to ripping on my Benelli!!

Only place I could find a race cam for my bike, the package came extremely quick and they guided me through the install and provided all the specs
