On our way home from our weekend away, our truck began overheating. After attempting to replace the thermostat we conceded and found a mechanic willing to help us on a holiday Monday. We had the truck towed to D and S auto repair and we were up and running again in about 2 hours. Dave was honest, hard working and took the time to get us moving asap. They were very hospitable, and I appreciated their help for us immensely. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I had previously rated D&S a 5/5 stars. My first interaction with Dave was fantastic and he fixed my car for a far more fair rate than other shops in town. I am sad to report that I now have to change my review to a 1/5 stars after an absolutely horrible experience. I took my car into the shop in January 2022 for a transmission issue. At the time, Dave had assured me the work would be done in a week. I called a week later and he said to give him another week. It is now July 2022, 6 months after I brought my car into the shop and I still don't have it back. I have called dozens of times and been given dozens of excuses for why the work wasn't done yet. I have been told dozens of times that it would be done by the end of the week. And every time it was a complete lie. The shop has now stopped responding to my calls and I have no idea what condition my car is in. It's a terrible feeling to have a shop that you trusted let you down like this. Final update: 9 months. It took Dave 9 months to fix my car. I had to visit the shop in person several times when he assured me the car was just about done but it was stuck behind other cars in the lot and he would move them and get mine out. Weeks later and he didn't move a single one. On 9/16 after 9 months of lies and cutting off communication, Dave finally had my car ready for me.... Only for it to be scratched all over, huge gouges on the hood, and a hairline crack down the windshield. I am absolutely speechless. Please do not take your car here. They might be cheaper than other shops but it is not worth it.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! My friend dropped off their car in January for repair and I know it sounds crazy but she got it back TWO DAYS AGO! After many many attempts to get it back and him refusing to give it. Not only was the repair not done but it had new scratches, dents, and a cracked front windshield! 👀 If you want more details, Jess M is my friend and she wrote a review about what occured! He got so upset and angry because I was trying to tell him what was going on and what other people told me then he told me it would be extra to use the machine to do another diagnose but he didn't charge me for it but he wanted to a good mechanic doesn't lose his temper because someone is trying to explain something he may be the mechanic but we are also the customer he was disrespectful and rude my wife was so upset set we lost are kid today and we should of never went to him this is so hard to say I am sorry I am not a mechanic but you should have had enough respect not to yell and get angry it almost made us feel like you were going to be violent that is the reason why I told you I would go somewhere else you said nevermind you wouldn't even give me the courtesy of putting my stuff back together and letting me like I was forced to stay there please stay away from me and and never speak to us
