Cycle Works Introduce

Located at 600 S Washington St, Tullahoma, TN 37388, USA, Cycle Works operates as a specialized service center primarily catering to powersports vehicles such as motorcycles and ATVs, placing it firmly within the Auto Repair Stations category. This business aims to provide essential maintenance and repair services for these types of vehicles to the local community in Tullahoma.

The environment at Cycle Works would typically consist of a workshop setting with specialized tools and equipment necessary for working on motorcycles, ATVs, and potentially other small engine vehicles. While a customer waiting area might be present, the primary focus of such a business is often on the bays and work areas where the actual repairs and services are performed. The atmosphere could be characterized by the sounds of mechanical work, with a focus on efficiency to get vehicles serviced and back to their owners. The cleanliness and organization of the workspace would be indicative of the professionalism of the operation.

Cycle Works offers a range of services for powersports vehicles. Based on customer reviews, a core service is tire mounting and installation for motorcycles and ATVs. This includes handling components like valve stems and ensuring proper balancing, potentially using balance beads. They also perform basic mechanical repairs, such as drain plug replacement and throttle cable installation/replacement. Given their specialization in "cycles," it's reasonable to infer they handle a broader spectrum of maintenance and repair tasks common for motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, and possibly UTVs, including routine inspections, fluid changes, brake services, chain and sprocket maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.

The goods for sale would primarily be the necessary parts required for these repairs and services. This would include tires for various powersports vehicles, valve stems, seals, drain plugs, throttle cables, carburetors, and other replacement components. They would likely stock or have access to a variety of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket parts to meet diverse customer needs and vehicle specifications. While not explicitly mentioned, it's possible they also sell accessories or riding gear pertinent to their niche, though their primary focus appears to be on service.

The features of Cycle Works, as highlighted by customer feedback, present a mixed and contrasting perspective. On one hand, a positive review describes the owner as a “Nice guy to do business with” who efficiently handled a tire mounting, even allowing the customer to source a specific part from a local hardware store to facilitate the repair. This indicates a willingness to accommodate customers and provide prompt service for straightforward tasks. The customer's statement, “I’ll be back soon for another tire install,” suggests satisfaction with this particular service, indicating reliability for certain types of work.

However, a highly critical review outlines significant concerns regarding the business's features. This feedback alleges prolonged service times, with an ATV repair taking multiple weeks and a subsequent attempt to fix an issue taking another four weeks without resolution. The review also raises serious accusations of dishonesty and incompetence, including claims of a swapped CIM (Capacitor Discharge Ignition Module) and the installation of a non-new throttle cable while billing for a new one. This strongly suggests a lack of transparent communication, potentially misleading practices, and an inability to correctly diagnose and fix complex issues. The review also mentions alleged unprofessional business hours (strolling in late and leaving early), which, if accurate, would reflect poorly on the business's operational reliability and commitment to customer service. These allegations have led to a complaint being submitted to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), indicating a serious breakdown in trust and satisfaction for at least one customer.

Given the stark contrast in reviews, it suggests that customer experience at Cycle Works can vary greatly depending on the specific service requested and potentially the complexity of the issue. While they might be efficient for simple tasks like tire changes, the capabilities for more complex diagnostics and repairs, as well as overall customer service and transparency, appear to be inconsistent based on the provided feedback.

Regarding promotional information, no specific ongoing promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs were provided in the input. Typically, businesses in the Auto Repair Stations category, especially specialized ones like Cycle Works, might promote their services through local advertising, word-of-mouth, or by highlighting their expertise in specific vehicle types or repairs. They might offer competitive pricing for common services like tire installation or routine maintenance. However, with the contradictory nature of the reviews, the business's primary form of promotion would likely be through direct customer interaction and the reputation built on individual service experiences. Potential customers are advised to contact Cycle Works directly at (931) 222-4086 or +1 931-222-4086 to inquire about specific services, pricing, and availability before committing to any repairs, especially for more intricate or time-sensitive jobs. Given the severe negative review, it would be prudent for new customers to exercise caution and perhaps get a detailed estimate in writing for any work performed.

In conclusion, Cycle Works at 600 S Washington St, Tullahoma, TN, positions itself as an Auto Repair Station specializing in powersports vehicles. It offers services such as tire mounting, and basic repairs like drain plug and throttle cable replacement, along with providing necessary parts. While some customers have had positive experiences with straightforward services, other highly critical feedback points to significant issues with service quality, communication, and overall business practices, including prolonged repair times and allegations of dishonesty. Therefore, while Cycle Works is available for powersports vehicle service, potential customers should proceed with caution and clarify all aspects of the repair, including estimated timeframes and costs, before engaging their services.

Cycle Works Customer Reviews

He got my tire mounted right up. He didn’t have the same valve stem or correct seals so I ran to our local hardware and got what we needed. Put valve stem in with new seals and put balance beads in and was ready to go. Nice guy to do business with. I’ll be back soon for another tire install.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ATV HERE!! You will be LIED to and CHEATED OUT OF MONEY! I took mine here for a new drain plug and a new throttle cable. It took Patrick 3 weeks to get it done which I was constantly calling for an update. My ATV was running when I dropped it off and when I picked it up and took it home, did not want to start/not firing! I ended up taking it back to him to fix whatever screw up he did and honestly he has no idea what he is doing. This time it took him another 4 weeks to do nothing! The throttle cable was NOT even new. He was never able to get it running as he told me it was the carburetor was is BS and even stated the carburetor that was on it was not OEM original. I ended up taking it to someone else that knows about ATV'S and was told my carburetor is actually the original OEM. The reason why it is not starting/firing up is for the simple reason Patrick swapped my CIM with another ATV he probably had at the shop. He is dishonest, liar, thief, unprofessional and the most incompetent (supposed to be business owner) I have ever came across! He has his hours as 8-5 and he strolls in at 10/12pm and leaves at 2-4pm. As a business owner you need to invest time not only to the business but clients! Again, Do NOT go here, you will be lied to and cheated out of money that he will not work on properly, IF he even works on it. I have submitted a review/complaint with the BBB as well!

Absolutely love this place. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The only place that I would bring my Kawasaki 900 custom Vulcan to. They really know what they’re doing there. I’ve been going to the same mechanic since I bought my bike brand-new in 2007
