Custom Coach Auto Body Introduce

Custom Coach Auto Body, located at 7521 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082, USA, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, aiming to provide comprehensive services for vehicles in need of restoration and maintenance. For local residents in Upper Darby and the surrounding areas, Custom Coach Auto Body offers a range of services designed to address various automotive repair needs, particularly focusing on collision and body work.

When considering an auto repair station, the environment plays a crucial role in customer experience. While specific details about the interior aesthetics of Custom Coach Auto Body are not readily available, most professional auto repair stations prioritize a clean, organized, and safe environment. This typically includes a well-maintained reception area where customers can discuss their vehicle's needs with service advisors, and a dedicated repair bay area equipped with the necessary tools and machinery for advanced automotive work. A structured and systematic approach to vehicle intake and repair is often indicative of a well-run facility. The exterior of such a shop is usually accessible with clear signage and adequate parking, ensuring convenience for customers dropping off or picking up their vehicles.

In terms of services, Custom Coach Auto Body, as an auto body shop, primarily specializes in collision repair. This encompasses a wide array of tasks from minor dent removal and paint scratches to major structural damage repair following an accident. Services commonly offered by such establishments include frame straightening, dent repair, bumper repair, fender repair, paint matching and refinishing, and often glass replacement. Beyond cosmetic and structural repairs, some auto body shops may also offer mechanical repairs that are a direct result of collision damage. For instance, if an accident impacts the engine or suspension, a full-service body shop might manage these repairs in conjunction with the body work. The goal is to restore the vehicle to its pre-accident condition, both aesthetically and functionally. Customers can typically expect estimates for repair costs, a timeline for completion, and communication regarding the repair process. For contact, Custom Coach Auto Body can be reached at (610) 449-7200 or via mobile at +1 610-449-7200.

The features that distinguish an auto repair station often lie in its equipment, technician expertise, and customer service approach. A reputable body shop will invest in state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and repair equipment to ensure precision and quality in their work. This might include advanced paint booths for flawless finishes, computerized frame measuring systems for accurate structural alignment, and welding equipment for secure repairs. The technicians working at Custom Coach Auto Body, like those in any professional auto repair setting, are expected to be certified and experienced in handling various makes and models of vehicles, staying updated with the latest repair techniques and automotive technologies. Good customer service often involves clear communication, transparency in pricing, and a commitment to meeting promised deadlines. Some shops may offer amenities such as towing assistance, rental car coordination, or a warranty on their repair work, which can significantly enhance the customer experience.

Regarding promotional information, auto repair stations often utilize various strategies to attract and retain customers. These can include offering free estimates for collision repair, which allows customers to understand the scope and cost of repairs without immediate commitment. Loyalty programs, seasonal discounts on specific services, or partnerships with insurance companies for streamlined claims processing are also common. Online presence, through a website or social media, is increasingly important for showcasing services, displaying before-and-after photos of repair work, and sharing customer testimonials. Local advertising, community involvement, and word-of-mouth referrals also play a significant role in promoting auto repair businesses. While specific current promotions for Custom Coach Auto Body are not detailed, potential customers are encouraged to inquire directly about any ongoing offers or service packages when contacting the shop.

However, it is also important to consider customer feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of a business. Some customer reviews indicate areas where Custom Coach Auto Body may have faced challenges. One review describes a situation where a customer's car, after a significant repair period of over three months, experienced severe issues shortly after being returned, with "all the screws had come off of the engine." The customer reported that Custom Coach Auto Body refused to take responsibility, attributing the damage to regular wear and tear despite the clear timeline of events, leading the customer to pay for damages they believed were not their fault. Another review highlights issues with communication and scheduling, where a customer was told their car would be ready on a specific date (4/4/25) but was not contacted for pickup, leading to inconvenience and a lack of transportation. The customer noted that while they received regular text updates about the schedule, they did not receive notification of delays or completion.

These experiences suggest that while Custom Coach Auto Body operates within the essential sector of auto repair, potential customers should consider these reported issues, particularly regarding accountability for post-repair complications and consistency in communication and scheduling. It is always advisable for customers to engage in thorough communication, ask for detailed explanations of repairs, and inquire about warranties on work performed when choosing an auto repair facility.

Custom Coach Auto Body Customer Reviews

I have had a poor experience with them. My car was taken to their shop after an accident. After a >3 month repair of my car they returned it. The car worked fine for a week or so but then on a long trip the car started shaking badly, was towed to the dealership repair shop, who then mentioned that "all the screws had come off of the engine"- which obviously sounds bizzare! . I then called the custom coach body shop that hey all the screws came off can you please take responsibility for this and take care of the bill but they refused. They were hellbent on convincing me that this damage was from the regular wear/tear of my car and had nothing to do with their incomplete >3 months repair. Eventually i ended up paying for something that clearly wasnt a fault of mine (given the very clear timeline of events).

Do not go to this place. Once to this place last week in person the try to get a estimate and get my car in the shop. They turned me away and gave me a card saying email them for an estimate within 24 hours and we'll get back to you. Send them an email multiple times they did not get back to me until I asked in the fourth email why are you guys not answering me back do you not want work? They replied back saying you did not put the make of your car and the ear on the pitchers. They said if I adjust it they will get back to me right away, I adjusted it 2 days ago and sent them the email and still have not got a response. I've wasted over a week of my time trying to get hold of these people. Talk to them multiple times just for them to lie to me and push me away when I could have went to another shop and got my work done on my car I don't have time to waste so unprofessional. You lied to my face and person and you lied to my face through email I don't know what kind of business you're running. If you're reading this I wouldn't waste your time dealing with these people they wasted mine and I can't get it back.

John and Christine are the best in the business. Christine is the energized bunny that keeps going:-). Her customer service is impeccable! She’s always smiling when speaking with a customer and is reassuring about the work being done. Christine is a gem! John is a comic.! He keeps you laughing when dealing with what can be a daunting task of getting your car fixed. My car looks amazing! I am very happy with the work the guys have done on my car. They even helped me get some white scratches on my car! I couldn’t be happier with my experience! I highly recommend Custom Coach Auto Body!
