We have been long patrons or Cruz always good service and prices until today my 22 year old daughter went to get her 2015 chevy cruz air con HOSE replaced, she bought the hose and was charged 190 for 30 MINUTES of work to change the hose. Very disappointing that my young daughter got taken advantage of.

I always take my van to Cruz for anything it has to do with my van. They provide services with quality and a great experience. I bought my van at their dealership in their location 7 yrs ago and knock on wood God bless them never had any problem with my van. They're the best mechanics in North Philadelphia. Very fair. I've brought 3 cars here, and used them several times for body work and car repairs. Very good work and excellent customer service. I love this place. I live in Delaware now but continue to travel to Philly to use them. I trust them fully.

I waited 4 months to write this, as I wanted to make sure my initial impressions held true. Mr. Cruz and Mr. Tee run an honest used car lot where you can find a reliable car at a good price. 1) They are honest. Throughout the process they were very transparent. They provided the entire Carfax, allowed me to take the vehicle to an independent mechanic, and clearly communicated where they were uncertain about the details. The independent mechanic told me that the vehicle was in great shape, but the rotors and serpentine belt should be replaced. Mr. Cruz replaced the rotors and belt on the spot, and even put a new antenna on the car (the original was missing) before turning the keys over to me. I didn't even mention the missing antenna. 2) The prices are very reasonable. I was looking for a specific year, make, and model of a lower production-volume vehicle, and was waiting to find a good deal. Over the course of 3-4 weeks, I reviewed between 30-40 ads, seriously considered 3, and went to 2 dealerships. The pricing on this vehicle was probably better than 75-80% of all vehicles I looked at. 3) The car has proven to be reliable. In addition to the first mechanic I spoke with, I also got positive confirmations from the Mazda dealership that replaced a recalled part, the Firestone mechanic who ran the state inspection, and the Sears mechanic who replaced the battery (the polar vortex killed the one that came with the car, despite it testing alright). In all three instances, the mechanics ran their umpteen point courtesy inspections and found the car in great condition. These are my impressions, and I'm not sure if I'll ever cross paths with Transatlantic again, but if you like one of their cars, definitely check it out! Mr. Tee and Mr. Cruz are good, honest, car dealers. *I paid in cash and have no insight into their financing practices
