Crenshaw Collision Center Introduce

Crenshaw Collision Center, located at 6830 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90043, USA, functions as an automotive repair station primarily focused on collision repair and auto body services. Within the broad category of "Auto Repair Stations," businesses like Crenshaw Collision Center specialize in restoring vehicles that have sustained damage from accidents, ensuring they are brought back to their pre-collision condition both aesthetically and structurally.

The environment of a collision center is typically geared towards handling a wide range of automotive body damage. While specific details about the waiting area or customer amenities at this particular location are not extensively described in public reviews, the general expectation for such a facility includes a reception area for initial consultations and estimates. The working areas would be equipped with specialized tools and machinery for tasks such as frame straightening, dent removal, panel replacement, and precision painting. These areas would ideally be organized and clean to ensure efficient work and to prevent contamination during the painting process. A professional collision center would also likely have designated bays for different stages of repair, from initial assessment to final detailing, ensuring a systematic approach to vehicle restoration. The physical environment is critical for managing complex repairs and maintaining a high standard of quality.

Crenshaw Collision Center's services are centered around auto collision repair. This typically involves a comprehensive array of services designed to address various types of damage resulting from accidents. These services include, but are not limited to, major and minor bodywork, structural repairs like frame alignment, paint matching and refinishing, bumper repair and replacement, and often, mechanical repairs that are a direct consequence of the collision. Beyond the hands-on repair work, collision centers frequently assist customers with the often-complex process of dealing with insurance companies. This involves providing accurate estimates, communicating directly with adjusters, and ensuring that the necessary paperwork is processed for claims. The goal is to provide a holistic repair experience, alleviating the burden on the vehicle owner by managing both the technical repair and the administrative aspects. The ability to work professionally with insurance companies is a significant value-add for customers, as highlighted by one positive review.

The features of Crenshaw Collision Center, as observed through customer feedback, present a bifurcated perspective. One customer review highlights several positive attributes, including "polite and considerate" personnel, appreciation for the "quality of work" on their vehicle, and satisfactory answers to all their questions. This customer also specifically commended the "professionalism with which they worked with my insurance company" and "highly recommend" the company. This suggests that for some clients, Crenshaw Collision Center delivers excellent service, effective communication, and competent handling of repairs and insurance processes, demonstrating a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.

However, another review offers a starkly contrasting and highly negative account, which is crucial for an objective portrayal. This customer, who had a positive experience with a previous, now-closed location of Crenshaw Collision Center, described their experience at the 6830 Crenshaw Blvd location as "the worst experience I ever had." The reviewer cited significant issues such as "very disorganized, lack of management, lack of follow through, lack of communication, and most importantly... a lack of compassion." Specific complaints include staff members (Adante and Cristina) allegedly failing to respond to numerous calls from the insurance company, and the vehicle being kept for "an entire month" without the estimate being sent to the insurance. Furthermore, the customer stated their vehicle "was not returned in proper condition and the door handle fell off," with the explanation being "because my car was old." This reviewer explicitly states, "I do not recommend that anyone use this body shop and if you do, I hope that you are treated better than I was," and questions the authenticity of positive online reviews. This significant discrepancy in experiences indicates potential inconsistencies in service delivery, communication, and overall professionalism at the location, particularly concerning transparency and accountability.

Regarding promotional information, specific current promotions for Crenshaw Collision Center are not readily available through general public searches. Auto repair stations, especially collision centers, often rely heavily on insurance company affiliations and word-of-mouth referrals, particularly when customers are seeking repairs after an accident. Given the mixed customer reviews, it is difficult to infer any consistent promotional strategies. Typically, collision centers might offer incentives such as free estimates, guarantees on repair work, or assistance with rental cars. However, without direct information, these cannot be confirmed for Crenshaw Collision Center. Prospective customers are strongly encouraged to contact Crenshaw Collision Center directly at (323) 753-2886 or +1 323-753-2886 to inquire about their services, obtain detailed written estimates, and clarify timelines and communication protocols. Given the stark differences in customer experiences, it would be prudent for potential clients to meticulously document all interactions, confirm all agreements in writing, and establish clear expectations regarding communication and repair progress before committing to services at this specific location.

Crenshaw Collision Center Customer Reviews

The personnel was overall very polite and considerate. As an elderly consumer, I appreciated the quality of work on my vehicle. All my questions were answered satisfactorily. I also appreciated the professionalism with which they worked with my insurance company. I could not thank them enough; and I highly recommend this company.

The worst experience I ever had. I had used the Crenshaw Collision Center location off of King and Crenshaw years ago before they closed. Everything was great. However, this location off of Crenshaw and Florence is terrible. Very disorganized, lack of management, lack of follow through, lack of communication, and most importantly... a lack of compassion. Adante and Cristina would never respond to the many calls from my insurance. It was Johnny Gallegos who is only there a few times a week that was able to assist me. Thank goodness! They kept my car for an entire month, didn't send the estimate to my insurance and were absolutely terrible. My vehicle was not returned in proper condition and the door handle fell off. I was told that the reason was because my car was old. I do not recommend that anyone use this body shop and if you do, I hope that you are treated better than I was. All the 5 star ratings that you see are not real customers. Don't be fooled.

Do NOT take your car here or allow a tow truck driver to take your car here. They are involved in a kick back scheme where a tow truck driver tells you “your tow is free if we take it to a fancy collision center.” The reason why the tow is free is because the owner of this collision center charges your insurance company an exorbitant amount of money so they can give a kick back to the tow truck driver for brining them the business. If you want to take your car out and to someone else, they will charge you beyond what the new California AB2392 allows for “reasonable storage”. If you do not have the cash to get your car, you will be stuck having to have them repair it so they can charge your insurance company to get the money. I have reported them to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, BBB, local police, and federal agency’s. Timothy James Mullahey owns multiple businesses in the area and opens and closes new ones to avoid detection buy authorities. Local police have told me they have had an eye on these individuals for also using parts not according to what they tell the customer/insurance company. I highly recommend you stay away and work with a certified repaired center through your insurance company or large network. You have the right to tell tow truck drivers to drop your car and leave you alone per the law. If they do not, call the police. Do not let one of their tow trucks scam you. They will prey upon your ignorance to make a quick buck.

Great customer service from everyone at this shop! I was rear ended and had my car taken to this body shop, now that I have it back it looks good as new! Repairs were done in a timely manner and I even received complimentary calls for my vehicle repair status. Thanks Crenshaw Collision!!

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. They are charging my Aunts insurance company $8,128 for storage, her car was there for less than 30 days. The only reason it was there for so long is because they waited 3 weeks to submit the estimate to her insurance carrier. CROOKS! Due to California's new law of reasonable storage, her insurance company is only covering half of that. The rest is being taken away from her total loss settlement. BEWARE! These are criminals with a business sign. You can thank people like this for jacking up insurance rates across California.
