Craiger Racing Engines Introduce

**Craiger Racing Engines**, also known as **Mike's Performance Machine**, is a distinct establishment operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, yet with a highly specialized focus. Unlike a general automotive repair shop, Craiger Racing Engines dedicates itself to the intricate and demanding world of high-performance and racing engines. Located in Clymer, NY, this business serves a niche clientele of racing enthusiasts, professional teams, and performance vehicle owners who require precision engineering and expert assembly for their engines.

The environment at Craiger Racing Engines is fundamentally that of a high-precision machine shop and engine assembly facility. While a typical "Auto Repair Station" might have multiple bays for general vehicle servicing, Craiger Racing Engines' space would be dominated by specialized machinery, including engine dynos for testing, CNC machines for precision component fabrication, and dedicated clean rooms or areas for engine assembly. The atmosphere would be one of meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and a passion for automotive performance. Customers visiting in person would likely see a workspace where components are carefully measured, machined, and assembled by highly skilled technicians. The focus is less on a comfortable waiting lounge and more on a functional, state-of-the-art facility capable of delivering exceptional engine performance. The air might carry the scent of oil and metal, indicative of serious mechanical work, while the soundscape could include the hum of machinery and the focused discussions of engineers and mechanics.

The services offered by Craiger Racing Engines are highly specialized and center around the core function of building and servicing high-performance and racing engines. Their primary services include **engine machining** and **engine assembly**. This encompasses a vast array of sub-services critical to creating a powerful and durable engine. Machining involves precision work on engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, and connecting rods to ensure optimal tolerances and performance. This can include boring, honing, decking, grinding, and balancing components. Engine assembly is where these meticulously prepared parts come together, often with custom or aftermarket performance components, to build a complete engine unit. Beyond full engine builds, they likely offer **engine rebuilding** for existing performance engines, **dyno testing** to accurately measure horsepower and torque, and **performance tuning** to optimize engine output and reliability. While they are not a general auto parts store in the traditional sense, they would undoubtedly stock or facilitate the acquisition of a wide array of specialized **high-performance auto parts**, including pistons, camshafts, valvetrain components, superchargers, turbochargers, and fuel injection systems, all necessary for their engine building and modification services. Their expertise effectively positions them as a critical component supplier and service provider for racing and high-performance vehicle owners.

Several key features distinguish Craiger Racing Engines within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. Their most prominent feature is their **deep specialization in racing and high-performance engines**. This singular focus allows them to develop unparalleled expertise in engine dynamics, metallurgy, and performance optimization that a general repair shop cannot match. The fact that they perform both **engine machining and assembly in-house** is a significant advantage, ensuring quality control and streamlining the building process. This vertical integration allows for greater precision and consistency, as all stages of engine construction are managed under one roof. Their long-standing presence, potentially under the "Mike's Performance Machine" moniker, suggests a history of experience and a proven track record in the demanding field of racing. Being a point of contact for a global dealer network for specialized performance parts, such as those related to Air Flow Research, further highlights their credibility and access to high-quality components. While specific details on the extent of their machine shop capabilities are not exhaustively detailed, their ability to perform complex engine work is implied by their name and focus.

Regarding promotional information, Craiger Racing Engines, operating in a specialized niche, would likely engage in targeted marketing rather than broad consumer-facing promotions. While you might not find general "oil change discounts" from them, their promotions would focus on value propositions relevant to performance enthusiasts and racers. This could include: **showcasing winning engines** built by them in local or regional races; **highlighting specific build capabilities** for popular racing classes or vehicle platforms; **offering package deals on engine rebuilds** or upgrades (e.g., a "Stage 2" engine package with specific components); and **providing expert consultations** for custom engine projects. They might also offer **dyno tuning sessions** at special rates for clients who purchase engine builds. Participation in local **motorsports events, car shows, or racing series** would be a key promotional avenue, allowing them to demonstrate their expertise and connect directly with their target audience. Testimonials from satisfied racers and performance vehicle owners would serve as powerful endorsements. Information about any current or upcoming promotions would typically be communicated through their direct client network, industry-specific forums, or their official contact channels rather than mainstream advertising platforms, reflecting the specialized nature of their services.

In conclusion, Craiger Racing Engines, operating as Mike's Performance Machine, is a highly specialized "Auto Repair Station" that caters to the high-performance and racing automotive segment. Its environment is a professional machine shop, equipped for precision engine work. The services are centered on expert engine machining and assembly, providing critical support and specialized auto parts for those seeking maximum power and reliability. Their core features include a deep level of specialization, in-house capabilities, and a focus on delivering top-tier performance. While promotions are niche-specific, they aim to attract serious enthusiasts and professional racers by demonstrating their technical prowess and commitment to excellence, making them an indispensable resource for anyone looking to build or enhance a high-performance engine in the Clymer, NY area and beyond.

Craiger Racing Engines Customer Reviews

Took some stock Small block ford heads over to get the full work up. 500$ worth of work. Put the motor together and dropped in my truck. Instantly puking coolant. They drilled the manifold holes to put a few helicoils in. Ended up drilling through 2 of the water jackets. Called them and they pretty much told me it wasn't them and to stick silicone in the holes. Done it 3 times and it uses gallon in 2 weeks in a brand new motor with 3k miles on it. Not happy.

Id rate it zero stars. Poor customer service, slow, missed customer timeline promised delivery date. Ordered and installed incorrect parts. Made very low horsepower. Lousey "stingey" dyno had dead battery couldn't start and run the engine. Had excuses for every problem along the build timeline. Total rip off artist. Save your time and money everyone. Go to a real machine shop with world class procesures, not a backyard engine builder. Lack of blueprint and paperwork skills.

They did good work on the cylinder head for my 1996 Ford Ranger. I put it back together and it runs very well. No clatters or leaks. They got the work done within my timeframe. No complaints.
