Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire, located at 2381 Middle Rd in Sidney, ME 04330, USA, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, offering a range of automotive services with a notable emphasis on tire-related work and general repairs such as brake service. While the name includes "Emerald City Tire," the "Concept Automotive" part suggests a broader scope of automotive services beyond just tires. For local users in Sidney and the surrounding areas seeking reliable and efficient vehicle maintenance and repair, Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire can be contacted at (207) 547-3004 or +1 207-547-3004.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire appears to excel in providing quick turnaround times for essential repairs and offering a variety of tire-related services. The two customer reviews highlight specific aspects of their service that are particularly valued:

Fast and Efficient Brake Service: One customer shared a critical experience where their brakes were "not working almost at all." They contacted Dale at Concept Automotive and were able to have their car repaired and completed by the very next day. This testimonial underscores the shop's ability to respond promptly to urgent repair needs and execute the work in an "extremely fast time." Such efficiency is crucial for vehicle owners facing safety concerns and needing to get back on the road quickly.

Comprehensive Tire Services: Another customer reported using Concept Automotive three times for "various tire services." Their most recent experience involved having TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensors swapped on a set of wheels. This indicates that Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire offers more than just basic tire changes or repairs. Services such as TPMS sensor replacement require specialized knowledge and equipment, suggesting a competent and well-equipped service center for tire-related issues.

The combination of "Concept Automotive" and "Emerald City Tire" in their name suggests a dual focus. While "Emerald City Tire" clearly points to tire sales and services, "Concept Automotive" implies a broader capability to handle various automotive repairs and maintenance. Based on the positive review regarding brake service, it is likely that they offer general mechanical repairs in addition to their tire expertise. These services could include brake repairs (pads, rotors, calipers), oil changes, wheel alignments, and other routine maintenance tasks.

Without more extensive customer feedback or specific information provided, it is challenging to fully describe the environment of Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire. However, an auto repair station typically includes service bays where mechanics work on vehicles, as well as an area for tire storage and service equipment. There might also be a customer waiting area. The positive reviews, particularly the one emphasizing the speed of service, suggest an efficient and well-organized operation capable of handling repairs promptly.

Features of Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire that can be inferred from the reviews include their quick service turnaround, especially for critical repairs like brakes, and their capability to handle specialized tire services such as TPMS sensor swaps. The mention of a specific contact person, Dale, in the brake repair review, might suggest a personalized approach to customer service. The fact that a customer has used their tire services three times indicates a level of trust and satisfaction with their tire-related work.

Given the limited information, it is not possible to definitively state all the services offered by Concept Automotive - Emerald City Tire. However, based on the reviews and their name, they likely provide:

  • Tire sales (potentially a variety of brands and types)
  • Tire installation and balancing
  • Tire repair
  • TPMS sensor services

  • Potentially other general automotive repairs and maintenance

I noticed my brakes were not working almost at all. I called Dale and my car was done the next day. I was very thankful to get the job done in an extremely fast time.

I have used Concept Auto three times for various tire services. Most recently, I had TPMS sensors swapped on a set of wheels. I’d highly recommend them!

I’ve been a customer for years. Concept Auto has been very fair to me over the years. Many years ago I met with Dale and stated to him the one thing I can’t stand is feeling like I’ve been ripped off. (Buying parts and labor unnecessary). I’ve been a customer now well over ten years. I’ve never felt I was being charged for unnecessary services. With that said, I want my vehicle fix right, which doesn’t always mean cheapest.

So by now I am sure all of you have learned my car is yet again in the shop. I had the engine replaced less than 6 months ago by the same garage that has my car in its possession now. Two weeks ago I was driving my car and the check engine light came on I drove a mile in a half back to my house where I proceeded to then have my car towed back to the garage it had been to to have the engine replaced. There my car sat for 9 days before I had to call to find the status of my car. Key note I had to call they did not call me. From there they made an excuse saying they needed more time to figure out what was wrong with it. So they call me a week later and say oh yeah sorry we cannot fix this problem you need to take it to a specialty shop to have that done... Does this make sense to any normal paying customer out there this garage replaced my motor yet the check engine light comes on and now they are not suitable to find the issue. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction to have this legally looked at or taken care of. Is the engine considered negotiation of a worthless instrument? What steps can I take here? I am not a happy customer and I paid my dues to have my opinion on the matter. If you want trustworthy fast service I would strongly suggest no one ever go to Concept Auto, or Emerald City Tire located in Sidney. Any help would be nice lets make sure companies like this cannot take advantage of people anymore this is quite absurd.

Honestly this is the worse place to take your car in for repair. I took my car in for a clunking noise coming from my suspension the guy there told me it was a outer tie rod link I said ok. Had that repaired for 300 something. Ok fine came to pick up my car same noise he said it was a control arm bushing now ok cool he charge me 800 for the repair and tires and a alignment. Ok well thank you sir “pick up my car again same noise. come to find out these people leached me out of grand plus and the problem never got fix took it to another shop turned out it was my strut.these people don’t care about you they don’t care if you live or die as long as they make a buck my car all most killed me after it got service there.
