Cold Case Radiators Introduce
Welcome to Cold Case Radiators, located at 2705 Clemens Rd, Hatfield, PA 19440, USA. As an auto parts store operating within the broader category of Auto Repair Stations (providing goods for sale), Cold Case Radiators specializes in the design and distribution of high-performance aluminum radiators for a variety of vehicles. You can contact them at (267) 638-0355 or their mobile number +1 267-638-0355 for inquiries about their products.
Information regarding the physical environment of Cold Case Radiators as a retail space is not available in the provided reviews. The focus of the customer feedback is primarily on the performance and quality of their radiator products rather than the in-store experience. Therefore, it is challenging to provide an objective description of their showroom or facilities based solely on this information. It's likely that their primary mode of operation involves warehousing and shipping their radiators directly to customers or through distributors.
The core service and offering of Cold Case Radiators revolve around the sale of high-performance aluminum radiators. These radiators are designed to provide superior cooling efficiency compared to traditional stock radiators, particularly beneficial for high-performance vehicles or those operating in demanding conditions. Based on the available reviews, their product line caters to various makes and models, as one customer successfully installed a Cold Case Radiator in a 1978 Trans Am. The services associated with Cold Case Radiators would primarily include:
- Sales of High-Performance Aluminum Radiators: Offering a range of radiators designed for enhanced engine cooling.
- Warranty Support: Providing replacements or support for products that fail within the warranty period, as indicated by one customer's experience with a replacement unit.
- Customer Service: Assisting customers with product selection, addressing concerns, and managing warranty claims, although the effectiveness of this aspect appears to be a point of contention in one of the reviews.
A significant feature highlighted in one positive review is the exceptional cooling performance of their radiators. The customer in Florida, a region known for its high temperatures, reported that the Cold Case Radiator was the "ONLY radiator that kept the Pontiac 400 engine under 200 degrees," even in traffic. This suggests that their radiators are engineered for efficient heat dissipation, a crucial benefit for maintaining optimal engine temperature and preventing overheating, especially in hot climates or during strenuous driving conditions. The perfect fit mentioned by the same customer is also a notable feature, indicating that their radiators are designed for straightforward installation, at least in some vehicle applications.
However, a critical aspect that emerges from another detailed review is a concern regarding product quality control and customer service follow-up. This customer experienced a leak in the initial unit after limited use and subsequently received a warranty replacement that also presented issues, including a bent drain valve and a poorly designed filler neck that required modification of the original cap. The reviewer also expressed disappointment with the lack of communication from Cold Case after reporting these issues. This feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in product quality and areas where customer service could be improved.
Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not explicitly mention any ongoing sales, discounts, or special offers from Cold Case Radiators. Therefore, it is not possible to provide objective information about any current promotions based solely on these customer reviews. Customers interested in potential promotions would need to visit the Cold Case Radiators website or contact them directly.
For local users in Hatfield, PA, and surrounding areas seeking high-performance cooling solutions for their vehicles, Cold Case Radiators offers a specialized product line of aluminum radiators. While one review praises the exceptional cooling performance and perfect fit of their radiator in a specific application, another detailed account raises concerns about potential quality control issues with both an initial unit and a warranty replacement, as well as dissatisfaction with the customer service response. Therefore, potential customers should weigh both the positive feedback regarding cooling efficiency and the negative experiences related to product quality and customer support when considering a purchase from Cold Case Radiators.
In conclusion, Cold Case Radiators in Hatfield, PA, specializes in selling high-performance aluminum radiators designed for superior engine cooling. A key feature, according to one customer, is their ability to maintain low engine temperatures even in hot conditions and a precise fit for certain vehicles. However, another customer's experience highlights potential drawbacks related to product quality control and customer service follow-up. As there is no promotional information available in the reviews, local users should consider these varying perspectives when evaluating Cold Case Radiators for their automotive cooling needs.

My Husband put a Cold Case Radiator in his 1978 Trans Am. NO other radiator kept the car cool. We live in Florida, & it gets really hot down here! Cold Case was the ONLY radiator that kept the Pontiac 400 engine under 200 degrees. In fact, the engine rarely gets to 200, even in traffic. It fit PERFECTLY, & looks GREAT! Highly recommend!

***Update 7/20/23 The replacement mentioned below in the update form January leaked as well. I ended up replacing it with a simple plastic/aluminum radiator from a local parts store (for about half the price of one of these) as it's not worth my time to try a third unit. Very disappointed in this brand. Would not recommend at all.*** Bought the first unit in May 2022 and had been chasing a leak since sometime in September. I don't think it's even made it 1,000 miles. The leak finally got bad enough in December that I could confirm it was the radiator itself and not a hose or other truck part. After some confusing emails, Cold Case said they would send a warranty replacement but it would take a couple weeks as they're out of stock at their warehouse. 1/8/23 Update: I received the replacement radiator last week and I must say I am very disappointed. Upon removal from the package, I found the drain valve was bent. Annoying but not a big deal, I was able to reuse the old one. After looking over the rest of the unit, I noticed a lot of weld puddle build up inside the filler neck. Assuming the welds are sound, it shouldn't affect the function but it does show a lack of care for quality. Most disappointing is that the filler neck is different from the original unit. The grooves for the teeth on the cap to fit in are about half and inch smaller than the original unit. I had to cut the teeth on my stock cap to get it to fit. I could not use the cap that came with the unit as there's no safe way to put it on or take it off. The bottom edge is sharp and there's no knobs or knurls to grab it with. It also doesn't specify what pressure it's set for. I contacted Cold Case as was told my photos and info would be forwarded to the appropriate department and they would contact me. I have yet to hear from them. Having the original unit fail so soon was aggravating enough but to have issues with the replacement is just disappointing. This does not fill me with confidence nor does it inspire me to recommend a Cold Case Radiator to anybody in the future.

I was looking for a radiator for my Gen 1 Camaro LS swap so I called Summit Racing, they recommended a Cold Case radiator. When it arrived I was very impressed with the quality of not only the part but the packaging as well. Everything was individually wrapped in its own box within a box “2 electric fans, a fan shroud and of course the radiator. Looking at the parts, I was impressed by the quality and the quality of the welds on the tank. My only complaint is that I wish that they supplied the male end of fan connector for ease of wiring it up. Otherwise it’s a great product.

Update 8/20/2023- I STILL have NOT received the correct radiator I PAID FOR last year 6/2022. "Sales" has my lawyers number and ALL my contact info but they took my money and ran. BEWARE! I ordered a "new" radiator mid June 2022. Upon receipt, I realized that this radiator does NOT fit my vehicle as purchased. I sent the defective/wrong radiator back in the ORIGINAL packaging the next day and shipped back at MY expense ($80). As of today, 1/19/2023 I still don't have a radiator or a refund for my significant purchase. Cold Case has blocked me from their portal/website. I am pursuing legal action at this point. Avoid at all costs. I now have collections after me for the cost of the radiator THAT I NEVER RECEIVED!!! UPDATE: EMAIL sent to sales on Jan 11, 2023 with my contact info, phone number, the contact info for my attorney and phone # for my attorney. As of 1/19/2023, I haven't heard ANYTHING. Added pic of wrong item I received as opened. Including TONS of shavings INSIDE the tanks that fell out. Bonus pic of the STOCK radiator installed in vehicle.

The team over at ColdCase is absolutely amazing as is their product! I have been using a ColdCase rad in my Pontiac for many years and seamlessly transitioned from the old 350 motor to the LS swap you see in the pics by simply adding the fan equipped shroud, I appreciate their ongoing support!! If you need to keep your ride cool, they're the ones to see...Fugitive 1 badazz 72!!
