I scheduled an appointment to have my brakes replaced. I spoke to the mechanic about the tire balancing I had there last time which seemed to cause some vibration that I didn't have there before. I did mention that during the hotter months of the year, I did have a death wobble which resulted in me spending several months and several hundred dollars doing repairs that did not fix it. He mentioned he had had the same issue with his vehicle. He wanted to drive the vehicle. I don't know why but, I said sure. I did not ride with him. He said he noticed the wobble. I was surprised because there wasn't one when I came in. It only happens under certain conditions during the hottest times of the year. I waited for an hour and a half to be finished with the brakes and then was told that it needed a new brake line, so they couldn't finish the job. But then I was charged over $94 for diagnosing. Apparently this was for him showing me what could be causing the death wobble. I did not authorize any kind of diagnosing for the death wobble. However, I was willing to pay as long as I received a list of everything he thought it could be and the charges. Mallory said she would email it to me. After not receiving it, I called and ask her to send it again. She said she would. Still do not receive it. I hoped to pick it up when I had another appointment scheduled for my brakes. But then they canceled it because they had cars left over from the previous day. I did not reschedule. But still didn't get print out on the findings for the death wobble diagnosis. When I called again, I was told the mechanic was no longer there, so Mallory told me she can no longer provide it. I asked for a refund because I didn't authorize the diagnosis and I never received the issues and prices for what was diagnosed. She hung up on me. I talked to the manager, and she just went along with Mallory. Even though they were not privy to the conversations I had with the mechanic. The manager said that the diagnosis fee was just for the time he spent explaining what could be the problem, even though, again, I did not request any diagnosing for the death wobble. I was there to get my brakes done and that's all I had time for. Apparently because they couldn't complete the job, they wanted to get paid for their time. They refused to reimburse me for the charge.

New to the area (in the past 2 yrs) and it was important to us to find a local shop that was honest and stood behind their work. City Tire and Auto stands for customer service all the way. From the helpful staff to the knowledgable mechanics, I am thankful that we found them. I would highly reccomend them for all of your auto needs.
