Cisco Tire Shop Introduce
For residents of Des Moines, Iowa, seeking tire services and related automotive repair, Cisco Tire Shop is a local establishment operating as an auto repair station. Located at 2122 SE 14th St, Des Moines, IA 50320, USA, this shop primarily focuses on the sale and installation of tires, catering to a diverse clientele in the community.
The environment at Cisco Tire Shop, as depicted through customer reviews, presents a dichotomy. Some customers describe a friendly and fast-paced setting, indicative of a shop that aims to quickly address tire needs. This suggests an environment where efficiency is prioritized, and the staff is capable of performing services in a timely manner. However, other reviews paint a picture of a less accommodating environment, particularly concerning post-purchase issues and customer disputes. This implies that while the initial service might be quick, the handling of subsequent problems can be a source of frustration for some customers.
The main services offered by Cisco Tire Shop revolve around tires. This includes the sale of both new and used tires. The availability of used tires is a key offering for customers looking for more budget-friendly options, or those needing a temporary solution. Beyond sales, they provide tire installation, which involves mounting and balancing tires on the vehicle. Given the nature of a tire shop, it is also highly likely they offer tire repair services, such as patching flat tires, though specific details on this service from the provided reviews are limited.
The features of Cisco Tire Shop are heavily influenced by the customer experiences shared. One positive feature highlighted is their ability to provide fast service, with a customer noting "Great shop friendly and fast." This suggests that for straightforward tire needs, the shop can deliver prompt solutions. However, a significant feature that stands out from critical reviews is the inconsistency in the quality of used tires and the shop's policy regarding returns and warranty claims. One customer reported purchasing two used tires, one of which went flat shortly after installation due to a hole, and the other having "bad tread" despite being described as "almost new." The shop reportedly refused to issue a refund or accept the return of the tires, attributing the flat tire to the customer driving over a nail within 24 hours of purchase, despite other reviews suggesting similar issues with quality. This indicates a potential lack of robust post-sale support or a strict interpretation of their return policy, which can be a significant concern for customers investing in used products.
Another feature that emerges is the pricing structure, particularly for used tires. The customer who had a negative experience noted paying $155 for two used tires, averaging $75.50 per tire, and felt the price was non-negotiable and high for used tires, especially given the subsequent quality issues. This suggests that while used tires are generally a more affordable option, customers should carefully consider the pricing in relation to the perceived quality and the shop's return policy.
While no specific promotional information was provided, the offering of used tires itself can be seen as a form of "promotional pricing" for budget-conscious consumers. However, based on the reviews, customers should exercise caution and thoroughly inspect used tires and clarify any warranty or return policies before purchase.
For direct communication, Cisco Tire Shop can be reached by phone at (515) 865-1945 or on mobile at +1 515-865-1945. Their operating hours are not provided in the given information, so it would be advisable for potential customers to call ahead to confirm availability and discuss their specific tire needs.
In conclusion, Cisco Tire Shop in Des Moines, IA, functions as an auto repair station specializing in tire sales and services, including both new and used tires. While some customers appreciate their speed and friendly service, there are notable concerns regarding the quality of used tires and the shop's approach to customer satisfaction and returns when issues arise. Prospective customers are advised to consider these varied experiences and to thoroughly inquire about product quality, pricing, and return policies before making a purchase.

Cisco Tire Shop Customer Reviews
I would give it zero stars if I could. Got two used tires for 155$, weren’t willing to negotiate at all for price considering it was averaging 75$ a piece for a USED tire. Then I wake up the next day and the tire is flat. I aired it up on my lunch break then it was flat again after work. I went to take the tires back and simply ask for my money back since one tire obviously had a hole and the other, the tread is not good even though the guy said “almost new”. They refused to give me any money back, they refused to take the other tire with bad tread, then insisted that within 24 hours of me having the tires THAT I DROVE OVER A NAIL. They blamed me but yet I see multiple reviews saying they had this same problem? How is it that your tires are “good quality” but yet so many of us find nails or holes in our tires? You claim you aren’t racist but yet sold us bad tires and then refused to take them back because why? It took maybe 10 minutes of actual work so it’s not like you really loose out on anything giving me a refund. Either you’re the worst small business owner I’ve ever met or you’re racist, you pick.
