These facilities are designed to address the aftermath of vehicle accidents, ranging from minor cosmetic damage to significant structural repairs, ensuring vehicles are restored to their pre-collision condition in terms of appearance, safety, comfort, and performance. Graff Chevrolet Collision centers are strategically located across various communities, serving a broad customer base and upholding the high standards associated with the Chevrolet and General Motors brands.

The environment at Graff Chevrolet Collision centers is characterized by professionalism, advanced technology, and a customer-centric approach. While the exact layout may vary by location, these body shops are equipped with state-of-the-art collision repair technology. This includes specialized repair bays, advanced diagnostic tools for assessing damage and ensuring proper system calibration, and modern paint booths that utilize advanced painting systems. Some locations, such as the Graff Chevrolet Durand Collision Center, even highlight their use of environmentally friendly waterborne paint, reflecting a commitment to sustainability alongside quality repair. The facilities often feature a clean and organized workspace, indicative of a dedication to precision and efficiency in their repair processes. For customers, comfortable waiting areas may be available, though the emphasis for collision repair is often on clear communication and timely updates throughout the repair process, making the stressful experience of an accident as manageable as possible. Some locations also offer amenities like courtesy pick-up and delivery services, and in some cases, complimentary loaner cars if the repair takes an extended period and insurance doesn't cover a rental.

Graff Chevrolet Collision offers a comprehensive suite of services, primarily focused on restoring vehicles damaged in accidents. Key services include:

  • Collision Repair: This is their core service, addressing all types of accident damage, from minor dents and scratches to major structural damage. They are equipped to handle frame straightening, panel replacement, and intricate bodywork.
  • Auto Body Repair: Beyond accident repair, this includes general body maintenance, rust repair, and restoring the vehicle's exterior aesthetics.
  • Paint Services: Utilizing advanced paint matching technology and high-quality paints, they ensure a seamless blend with the vehicle's original finish. This also extends to custom paint work, including paint stripes, graphics, and other personalization options.
  • Dent and Ding Removal: This includes traditional dent repair and paintless dent repair (PDR), a specialized technique for removing minor dents without affecting the original paint, often used for hail damage or minor parking lot dings.
  • Hail Damage Removal: Special expertise in repairing vehicles affected by hail, often utilizing PDR techniques.
  • Glass Repair and Replacement: Addressing damaged windshields, side windows, and rear glass.
  • Frame Straightening: Restoring the vehicle's structural integrity after significant impact.

Their technicians are often I-CAR technical instructors themselves, further reinforcing their advanced knowledge. Transparency is another key feature; they provide written estimates and will review the entire repair process with customers, keeping them informed at every step. Their work is typically backed by a written warranty, with some locations stating a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee, pledging to fix any unsatisfactory work. Their ability to service all makes and models, both foreign and domestic, despite their Chevrolet affiliation, broadens their customer reach and expertise.

  • Certified Technicians and Expertise: Promoting their factory-trained, certified technicians and their adherence to manufacturer-specific repair procedures.
  • Insurance Liaison: Highlighting their assistance with insurance claims, aiming to make the process as stress-free as possible for the customer.

Chevrolet Body Shop - Graff Chevrolet Collision Customer Reviews

Had my Impala in just over a week after my estimate for front end damage, and although they estimated 4 to 5 days to complete, they had it done in 3! They even cleaned my floor mats for me while they had the car. Great work guys!

Please be cautious of this establishment. They initially offer lower prices to attract customers, but their practices seem questionable and deceptive. When I brought my vehicle in for an estimate, I received a quote. I asked if they intended to entice customers with lower prices and then increase the cost after securing the job and billing the insurance company. The individual became nervous and said they would never do that. After the individual initially denied this possibility, he later acknowledged that there might be unforeseen circumstances that could necessitate additional charges, hence their preference for processing the payment through insurance. I asked him why a bumper replacement could incur extra costs and why they could not adhere to their estimated price. He then became extremely irritated and said they would call back. He eventually called back and stated they were not interested in my business. I guess they are only looking for people they can take advantage of. This place is very unprofessional and shady at best; please stay away from them.

TL;DR I would be cautious about their abilities to deal with the little things: paperwork, timelines, and associating a customer with their car. But our car was eventually fixed to our insurance company's satisfaction. I was only ever able to pull information when I called them. And when they say they'll call you back that afternoon, no they won't. The estimate was incredibly long for standard parts and a pretty normal supply chain, but they still couldn't meet that. When they did leave a voicemail to come pick up the car, we were then told in the office "no, I didn't leave you a voicemail, why are you here" and then days later, got a call "why haven't you picked up your car yet" referencing the date of the original voicemail. We were told it was because my husband's hat confused Wally.

I took my car to have it fixed after hitting a deer in November. When they finally got parts in I dropped it off to be fixed and was told it would be done in about a week. I didn’t hear anything after about a week and a half so I called them. They were apparently waiting on more parts but hadn’t called me to tell me that. Weeks went by and I had to initiate every phone call asking for updates, not once did they call me on their own accord to provide me with any update. The last time that I called, I was told once again that the parts weren’t there yet. This was about 5 weeks in. The receptionist, who lacks basic customer service skills and is quite rude, put me on hold and came back to say that the parts just came in. Finally, it got fixed. A piece was missed and so we took it back and dropped it off to be repaired while we were on vacation. When we returned to pick it up 10 days later, the piece wasn’t repaired properly. We were also told that the car hadn’t been washed because they didn’t have time. They had it 10 days. The inside of my car was also completely covered in primer and paint dust. Highly disappointed with the whole experience and would not recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.
