Took my car in wanting specific work done. He was firm that what I wanted done wouldn't fix the check engine code I'd pulled, so he charged me to run diagnostic then fixed a few basic maintenance things he claimed would help (my fault for being too busy at work and not getting a few things done myself, and I did agree to the work despite the voice in the back of my head, thinking we'd be able to get to a better diagnostic spot after.) He cleared the code, gave it back to me with the same running issues and told me he'd driven it enough that the code would have shown again if it was going to happen. Sure enough the code threw again once I hit the road, so I took it to Honda to get the valve adjustment I originally thought I needed. Runs great with no codes now. Cost 60% of what Dan charged to get nothing done. Oh and he snapped off an arm on my windshield wiper so one side didn't work, didn't tell me it wasn't working (despite telling me how much he'd driven it to check the condition) and sent me off on a rainy day just like that. Thanks, guy!! Meanwhile his groupies stand around ready to laugh about it over beers later. Really great! He claims he's only still working because of "popular demand" but seems like he just likes to get stoned and watch himself work people over smiling in their face with his next sales pitch. Go to Bay Auto across the street on lovr.

Dan is the best auto mechanic! His work is excellent, he’s honest, and quick. We wouldn’t dream of taking our cars anywhere else.

Have literally taken every car I've owned over the last 28 years to be serviced or repaired by Dan. Honest as they come and priced fair.
