Carolina Customs Introduce

Carolina Customs is an auto customization shop located in Raeford, NC 28376, USA. While operating within the broader category of Auto Repair Stations, Carolina Customs appears to specialize in customization services such as color matching and potentially body work. Currently, there is no publicly listed phone number available for this business. It is important for local users seeking auto customization services in Raeford to be aware of the serious concerns raised by at least one customer regarding their business practices.

The available customer reviews paint a deeply troubling picture of Carolina Customs' operations. One customer detailed an experience that strongly suggests a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and questionable business ethics. This account should be carefully considered by any potential local users contemplating engaging their services.

According to the review, Carolina Customs was contacted to color match a bumper. The customer reported receiving a fair price and subsequently brought in their bumper, which they had purchased themselves, and paid for the color-matching job upfront to ensure the work would commence. This indicates the customer acted in good faith and fulfilled their initial obligations.

However, the customer stated that several months passed with no communication or updates from Carolina Customs regarding the status of their bumper. Growing concerned, the customer reached out to the shop while in town to inquire about the progress of the work they had already paid for. The response they received was shocking and highly unprofessional.

The customer was informed that because they had not proactively contacted Carolina Customs after the color matching was supposedly completed, the shop made the unilateral decision to sell the customer's bumper to someone else. The customer explicitly stated that they never received any communication from Carolina Customs informing them that the bumper was finished, ready for installation, or that it would be sold if they didn't inquire. This complete lack of communication is a significant failure in basic business conduct.

As expected, the customer requested a refund for the color-matching service they had paid for and the cost of the bumper that Carolina Customs had sold without their knowledge or consent. This is where the situation reportedly escalated further into unacceptable territory. Carolina Customs allegedly refused to issue any refund, stating that they had "lost money on it too." This response is illogical and places the burden of the shop's poor communication and handling of customer property squarely on the innocent customer.

The customer's account raises serious questions about Carolina Customs' operational environment and business practices. The decision to sell a customer's paid-for property without any attempt at communication suggests a chaotic and unprofessional environment where customer assets are not handled with due care or respect. The refusal to provide a refund under these circumstances indicates a severe lack of accountability and a disregard for fair business dealings.

Based on this detailed negative review, it is impossible to ascertain any positive features of Carolina Customs. The reported actions demonstrate a fundamental failure in customer service, communication, and ethical business conduct. Potential local users should be extremely wary of entrusting their vehicles or parts to this establishment based on this account.

Given the severity of the issues raised in the review, it is highly unlikely that Carolina Customs is currently offering any legitimate promotional information that would outweigh the significant risks highlighted. Any potential promises or deals should be viewed with extreme skepticism in light of the reported treatment of a previous customer.

Without any positive reviews or additional information, it is impossible to describe any potential services offered by Carolina Customs beyond the color matching mentioned in the negative account. It is reasonable to assume they might offer other auto customization services, such as body work or painting, but the reported handling of the bumper casts a dark shadow over their ability to deliver these services reliably and professionally.

In conclusion, Carolina Customs in Raeford, NC, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, seemingly specializing in auto customization. However, the detailed account of a customer's experience is deeply concerning, indicating a severe lack of communication, mishandling of customer property, and a refusal to provide a reasonable resolution when the shop made a significant error. Local users in Raeford seeking auto customization services are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate Carolina Customs before entrusting them with any work or payment. The reported business practices raise significant red flags and suggest a high risk of a negative and costly experience. It would be prudent to seek alternative auto customization services with a more established and positive track record.

Carolina Customs Customer Reviews

So, where do I begin? First of all I’d run far far away from this “business”. I use business lightly as they don’t conduct very good business at all. So a few months ago they were contacted to color match a bumper, they gave me a fair price so I brought the bumper that was paid out of pocket and dropped it off. I went ahead and paid for the job so they would start it. A few months went by and no contact or nothing. So I decided to reach out while I was in town to see what’s going on with my bumper that I bought. Well, there’s no other way to put this. They decided because I DIDNT reach out to them after they color matched it to come back so it could be installed. So guess what they did? They sold my bumper to someone else without telling me anything about my bumper being done. I never got a call from them at all about it being done, it being sold, or anything. So like anyone else I asked for a refund on the job itself and the money for the bumper that I had purchased, this is where things went from bad to worse…. They said “I’m sorry but we can’t issue a refund as we lost money on it too” Do what???? You mean to tell me I dropped a part off for y’all to do a job, y’all never contact me about the job or an update on the job. I reach out to y’all, to find out y’all sold it to someone else and can’t refund me for anything? So please let me know how good of a “business” this is.

Have had two vehicles repaired here and have been completely satisfied. Great work and easy to deal with. One was a brand new F250 just a week old, and is good as new again. Other was a older one and they even touched up extra spots making it look great.

Bad communication, they like to sell parts that have already been paid for with no call or communication to the person who paid for it. Said they “lost money” but how can you lose money for a part that was paid for and you still sold it? Sounds like you made a good profit to me and a total rip off. Will absolutely never do “business” with these people.
