Caldwell Collision Inc. Introduce

Welcome to Caldwell Collision Inc., your local auto repair station specializing in collision and auto body repairs, located at 4550 Hickory Blvd, Granite Falls, NC 28630, USA. As part of the Auto Repair Stations category, Caldwell Collision Inc. focuses on restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, addressing both cosmetic and structural damage resulting from collisions. You can reach them at (828) 313-2001 or their mobile number +1 828-313-2001 to discuss your repair needs.

The environment at Caldwell Collision Inc. is likely that of a typical auto body repair shop. This would include a reception or customer service area where clients can discuss their repair needs, receive estimates, and handle paperwork. The core of the facility would be the workshop, equipped with specialized tools and equipment necessary for collision repair. This might include frame straightening machines, welding equipment, paint booths, sanding and preparation areas, and various hand and power tools required for auto body work. The presence of positive remarks about the "lady up front" suggests a welcoming and customer-focused reception area. However, specific details about the overall ambiance or additional amenities are not provided in the reviews.

The primary services offered by Caldwell Collision Inc. revolve around collision repair and auto body work. This typically includes assessing vehicle damage, providing repair estimates, working with insurance companies on claims, repairing or replacing damaged body panels, frame straightening if necessary, paint matching and application, and ensuring the vehicle is restored to its pre-accident safety and aesthetic standards. One positive review highlights clear communication about the repair process ("Chris explained what he was going to do very well") and accurate time estimates. This suggests a focus on keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. However, a contrasting negative review details an experience involving a rear wheel collision with minimal visual damage, where the shop allegedly argued with the insurance adjuster, potentially complicating the claim process and leading to a prolonged repair time of two months for seemingly minor damage. This indicates that while collision repair is their specialty, the customer experience can vary, particularly concerning insurance interactions and repair timelines.

Several features can be inferred from the limited customer feedback. The positive review emphasizes the "first class experience all around," highlighting the genuine and authentic nature of the staff, particularly Chris and the lady at the front desk. The ability of Chris to explain the repair process well and provide accurate time estimates suggests professionalism and expertise. The welcoming and family-like atmosphere created by the front office staff can contribute significantly to a positive customer experience. However, the negative review points to potential drawbacks, including difficulties in dealing with insurance adjusters and extended repair times, even for what was described as minimal damage. This suggests that while the personal interactions with some staff members might be positive, other aspects of their service, such as claim handling and repair efficiency, may not always meet customer expectations. It's important for local users to consider both the positive feedback regarding staff interaction and the negative feedback concerning the repair process and insurance dealings when evaluating Caldwell Collision Inc.

Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Auto body shops might offer various promotions such as discounts on deductibles, free estimates, or special offers on specific types of repairs. Given the limited information, it is unknown if Caldwell Collision Inc. currently has any active promotions. Local users interested in potential discounts or special offers are advised to contact the shop directly to inquire about any current deals or incentives they might be providing. Checking their website or social media presence, if available, might also provide information on promotions or special services.

In conclusion, Caldwell Collision Inc. in Granite Falls, NC, is an auto repair station specializing in collision and auto body repairs. While one customer reported a "first class experience" with friendly and professional staff who provided clear explanations and accurate estimates, another customer detailed a negative experience involving complications with insurance claims and a lengthy repair process for minimal damage. Local users considering Caldwell Collision Inc. should weigh these contrasting experiences. The positive aspects highlight good communication and a welcoming staff, while the negative review raises concerns about insurance interactions and repair timelines. It would be prudent for potential customers to discuss their specific repair needs and insurance situation with Caldwell Collision Inc. directly to ensure a clear understanding of the repair process, estimated timelines, and how they handle insurance claims before entrusting their vehicle to them.

First class experience all around. Chris, and the lady up front, are really great people. Chris explained what he was going to do very well, and his time estimate was on point. The lady up front is great with people, and makes you feel like family. And it's not forced. The folks here are genuine and authentic, real people. Highly recommend!

My vehicle had a rear wheel collision with minimal visual damage. They proceeded to argue with the insurance adjuster and almost totaled the vehicle in the process. After the unnecessary back and forth they proceeded to take two months to fix the minimal damage. I am disappointed in Caldwell collision’s behavior in this matter. North Carolina or course.

Tim and his crew are fantastic. I had 4500 miles on my 2024 Toyota when I had to have the front of my car repaired (my fault). I am super picky about my car and Tim understood that. He was not afraid to repair my car and the results were 100% perfect. They handled everything with my insurance,. The turn around time for repair was beyond fast. I was constantly informed of the status of my car. NO 'new' damages to my car when I picked it up. DO NOT pay any attention to negative reviews by others. This was my first experience with Caldwell Collision (hopefully my last) but if I need anything else, I will go here. Great job team!!!

They are awesome! Tia and Tim both kept me informed the whole time they had it and updated me every other day! They did an amazing job on my 2021 Kia Soul! You can't even tell anything happened from where it got damaged! They got it done in only 17 days! I highly recommend them if you need body work done on your car! Don't pay any attention to any of these negative reviews!

We didn't have the luxury of shopping around for a repair place, and we landed here. Everyone was very kind and accommodating until they got ahold of our car. They had the vehicle for literal months with no changes or updates, then, at the eleventh hour, wouldn't accept payment by card or personal check without a ridiculous surcharge. We paid them in cash, which is absurd. Several months later, they started billing our insurance again for additional expenses. It's 2023. Figure out your billing and acceptable payment methods ahead of time. Communicate with your customers. We absolutely don't recommend Caldwell and won't be back, and our major insurance company is fed up with you too.
