C & C Transmission Service Introduce

C & C Transmission Service, located at 1560 W Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92411, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, primarily specializing in transmission services but also handling a broader scope of automotive repairs. As a dedicated auto repair station, their core function is to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles, providing essential solutions for vehicle owners in San Bernardino and the surrounding areas. Their specific focus on transmissions indicates a high level of expertise in this complex automotive system, a critical component for any vehicle's performance and longevity. They can be reached via phone at (909) 887-0998 or mobile at +1 909-887-0998.

The environment at C & C Transmission Service would typically feature a specialized garage setting. Given their focus on transmission work, the facility is expected to be equipped with lifts, specialized tools for transmission removal and rebuilding, and diagnostic equipment tailored for intricate vehicle systems. The positive review mentions the staff's professionalism and efficiency ("exceptionally fast for a turn around"), suggesting a well-organized and streamlined workflow within the shop. The presence of "up to date tools and scanners to quickly detect the issues with your vehicle," as mentioned in one review, indicates an investment in modern technology for accurate diagnostics. While a customer waiting area is standard, its specific amenities are not detailed. The overall environment is designed for precise technical work, ensuring that complex repairs, particularly transmissions, can be handled effectively and efficiently.

The services offered by C & C Transmission Service extend beyond just transmissions, although that is their named specialization. As an "Auto Repair Station," they are equipped to provide a range of general automotive repairs. The first customer review explicitly states, "I took my 1972 truck in for a service and they repaired so many other things that were wrong with it; that I had no idea about." This indicates a comprehensive diagnostic capability and the ability to perform various repairs, including those not immediately apparent to the vehicle owner. Their services would include diagnosing transmission issues, transmission fluid flushes, transmission rebuilds, and replacements. Beyond transmissions, they likely offer general engine diagnostics, electrical system repairs, brake services, steering and suspension work, and routine maintenance for various makes and models, including older or classic vehicles like the 1972 truck mentioned. The ability to work on a classic vehicle suggests versatility and experience with different automotive generations. The comprehensive communication ("communicated with me every step of the way") is a service feature that contributes to customer satisfaction.

The features of C & C Transmission Service are presented through contrasting customer experiences, providing a nuanced perspective. On the positive side, the exceptional customer service and communication stand out. The first reviewer highlights "Jay and all his staff are amazing," emphasizing their friendly demeanor and consistent updates throughout the repair process. This level of communication is a significant feature, building trust and transparency with customers. Another key feature is their efficiency and quick turnaround times, with the reviewer noting they were "exceptionally fast." This is crucial for vehicle owners who rely on their transportation and need timely repairs. Furthermore, their diagnostic capability and thoroughness are evident in their ability to identify and fix multiple hidden issues on the 1972 truck, showcasing a commitment to comprehensive care rather than just addressing the stated problem. The staff's "absolutely wonder when in person" demeanor also contributes to a positive customer experience, making interactions pleasant and helpful. The ability to handle both modern vehicles (implied by "up to date tools and scanners") and classic cars demonstrates a broad range of technical expertise.

However, it is vital to acknowledge the significant negative feedback regarding management's integrity and pricing practices. The critical review states, "management lacks integrity and due diligence when it comes to pricing. You will be told what you want to hear and be upsold during the process. Quoting you from $1,500 for a used transmission and totalling $3,400 after everything is said and done." This accusation of "upselling" and a substantial price increase from the initial quote to the final bill points to a serious concern about transparency and potential deceptive practices regarding cost. This suggests that while the technical staff and repair capabilities may be strong, issues related to billing and clear communication of costs might be a significant drawback for some customers. This feature, or rather a lack of integrity in pricing, is a critical point that prospective customers would need to consider, as it directly impacts their financial trust in the business. It implies that while they may have the tools and skill, the customer's final expenditure might be much higher than initially anticipated.

Regarding promotional information, no explicit marketing campaigns or discount offers are provided in the given data. Instead, the business's promotion is primarily driven by customer experiences, which, as noted, are polar opposites. The highly positive review ("I would rate them a 10/10 if I could. Anyone who needs their car fixed take it here!!") serves as a powerful, organic endorsement, effectively promoting the business through word-of-mouth and strong personal recommendation. This kind of authentic testimonial is invaluable for attracting new customers. Conversely, the negative review acts as a strong cautionary tale, potentially deterring customers who prioritize price transparency and straightforward dealings. For C & C Transmission Service, their promotional strategy would likely need to emphasize the positive aspects of their service—skilled staff, efficiency, and comprehensive repairs—while also actively addressing the concerns raised about pricing integrity to build broader trust. Without direct promotional materials, the existing customer feedback dictates the perceived value and reliability of the service. Their physical address and phone numbers are the primary means for potential customers to engage with them for service inquiries.

In conclusion, C & C Transmission Service at 1560 W Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92411, functions as a specialized "Auto Repair Station" with a core focus on transmissions, complemented by general automotive repair capabilities for various vehicle types, including classic models. Their environment is equipped for precise technical work, facilitated by modern tools and efficient processes. Key services include comprehensive transmission repairs, diagnostics, and general automotive fixes, delivered with strong communication from their staff. However, the business presents contrasting features: while praised for amazing staff, excellent communication, and efficient, thorough repairs, it also faces significant criticism regarding management's integrity in pricing, including alleged upselling and substantial final bill increases. In the absence of formal promotions, customer testimonials, both highly positive and critically negative, shape the public perception and serve as the primary source of promotional information for this San Bernardino auto repair establishment.

Very well equipped with up to date tools amd scammers to quickly detect the issues with your vehicle. However, management lacks integrity and due diligence when it comes to pricing. For all you owners of beautiful classic muscle cars in the I.E. I took my 55 Chevy to C&C Transmission after doing some homework and, even checking prices with Summit Racing and Danchuks. Talked to Jay about what I wanted and have to say he was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what kind of transmission he was going to build for me. I dropped my Chevy off on 13 Sep, 18 and picked it up on 19 Sep, 18. Jay you and your dad Larry outdid yourselves with the transmission you built for my Chevy, a completely different car. Speed, shifting, and horsepower outstanding... I don't give C&C Transmission 5 stars, I give them a awesome 10 STAR RATING. Thanks C&C Transmission for a awesome job well done, Charles Phillips...

Had read reviews on Jay's work and honesty so I sent my friend there who thought they had transmission problems with their truck for diagnosis. Jay took a look at it and after 10 minutes told them it wasn't due to the transmission. He called another mechanic, who helped him diagnoise that it due the variable timing solenoid issue. I'm happy that Jay is really honest. If you want an honest and reliable mechanic, I would highly recommend you go to see Jay.
