BUMPERDOC Auto Body Escondido

Was referred to Bumper Doc to repair damage on the back bumper of my vehicle. The repair work exceeded my expectations. Not only is the work good here, but the staff is great as well. In addition to the bumper repair they were also able to install a few things on my car (front splitter, side marker lights, fuel door) all for a fair price. There’s no question I will recommend this place to any and everybody that needs good repair work done. My car looks like nothing ever happened to it and that means a lot coming from a perfectionist like myself. Thanks again! Here are some before AND after pictures for reference!

As a commercial pilot and aircraft owner I am very particular about the service and maintenance of all my vehicles. I have a 2005 Dodge Durango which is in mint condition simply because I have taken great care of it. When my Durango was damaged by a technician at a smog inspection station recently, I was faced with finding a collision repair shop that would not only work on a 20-year-old vehicle but also one that would restore it to its original condition. I called and visited many body shops in North County and was dissatisfied with what I had seen and heard. After an extensive online search, I called BumperDoc in Escondido and spoke with Ron, the owner of the shop. I could tell from our conversation that Ron had a high standard of workmanship and was not going to do a quick fix on my vehicle. He was also open and honest about not being able to give an exact date of completion because there were many variables such as parts availability, shipping, etc. My decision to trust Ron and BumperDoc with preparing my Dodge Durango turned out to be the right one. Since the insurance company for the smog inspection station was paying for the repairs, they wanted the work done quickly and inexpensively. Ron gave me some advice on negotiating with their insurance company to ensure my vehicle would be properly repaired. During the repair period, Ron kept me informed about the progress he was making and the challenges that he had acquiring used parts that we're up to his standards. When I picked up my Dodge Durango, I was not only impressed at the work BumperDoc had performed, but they also repaired some scratches and chips that I had on other parts of my car. I was very pleased by the extra level of service and professionalism. I rarely give reviews on Yelp or Google, and only do so when I have encountered exceptional and outstanding service. It is with confidence and gratitude that I highly recommend BumperDoc to anyone who cares about their vehicle and wants it repaired properly.

The work done here is top notch and performed by real passionate car guys. The value you get here for your money is phenomenal. I would recommend anyone needing repair and paint work to come here 100%. My car is a pretty unique color and they matched it perfect. My car was even done quicker than promised. Can't say enough good things. Just do yourself and your car a favor and leave it in these guys hands!

I initially popped in for a quote after an accident where I was trying to help the at fault driver save a buck by bypassing insurance. However after an initial inspection and guidance/education from Cliff, I decided to file a claim and have my car repaired carefully and thoroughly. Although Bumper Doc had my car for over a month, the work is impeccable and my car is safe and beautiful again! Getting payment through the at fault parties insurance took extra time to get things approved along the way but it also saved me a lot of money in the long run by having the repairs done right the first time. I highly recommend speaking with Cliff as he is most humble to talk to and quite knowledgeable as well.

Ron and his team did some rear body work on my CX-5 in November 2023. The work was done in one day and at the price quoted. The work done was top quality. My mechanic at the dealership where I take my vehicle for service also stated that the work was excellent. I am now in need of more bodywork as my vehicle was a victim of recent vandalism and Ron and his team are the first repair professionals turned to. Again my vehicle was done on time at the price quoted. I highly recommend Bumberdoc Auto Body Escondido.

Ron is the man! I brought in my 2018 M3CS that was hit by another driver in to BumperDoc, who was recommended by a close friend. Couldn't have made a better choice! For starters, Traveler's insurance tried to justify the damages as only being $3k; wrong! BumperDoc estimated around $11k worth of damages in order to make sure all replacement parts were OEM. Ron and his team FOUGHT to hold Traveler's accountable and was able to get the supplemental payments to make sure he could do the job right! He was very communicative throughout the process and was able to assure the work being done was top notch. My car looks like it just came out of the factory. He even made sure they took care of the PPF for the bumper that was there prior. HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE!

I've had a variety of work done here on 4 different vehicles (including a motorcycle) and wouldn't go anywhere else for body repair and/or painting in the San Diego area. They simply don't cut corners and the quality of work is at the highest level. Ron and Cliff are both very knowledgeable and fully transparent about the work being done along with when it will be completed. Highly recommend!

Reinforced fiberglass...does that ring a bell? This is the type of material you should avoid at all costs when purchasing a body kit. I have been ghosted multiple times by these so called "professional" body shops in San Diego as these types of materials are the most arduous components to install in any vehicle. The AMAZING team in BumperDoc Escondido had warned me about the atrocity of such modification, but did they accomplish the task? With ABSOLUTELY flying colors!! I'm an engineer and I understand the heavy grind that these gentlemen had to endure just to fit the bumper to OEM Specs. The trim lines are flushed, the surface is primed and smooth (for the 3M Wrap I'll be adding on top of it), and they even fixed the wirings that were belligerently mashed together by previous mechanics that were probably high on bath salt on the job. I can't thank the team enough for their efforts, and they were able accomplish the job in such a timely manner as well. And for the amount of labor they put into the job, the price is just incredible. They have displayed such high value on their labor, and I could not be happier with the results. I rate them 6/5 and will continue to do business with them in the future. Just Absolutely Amazing!

Alícia at Chrome Plating USA is super happy with my headlight restoration, replace front logo emblem and fix sunroof closure. I was recommended by one of our customers Bella Porche. Bumper Doc Escondido is Professional and knowledgeable. I use a lower cost headlight mobile guy but bumper doc took it to a another level. Clarity and remove all yellowing. So worth the extra cost. Will recommend to other.
