Buckeye RV Services Introduce

Located at 11197 Cleveland Ave NW in Uniontown, Ohio (zip code 44685), Buckeye RV Services operates within the Auto Repair Stations platform category, focusing on the repair and maintenance of recreational vehicles. They can be reached at (330) 494-3811 or their mobile number +1 330-494-3811. While positioned to serve the RV owners in the local area, recent customer feedback raises significant concerns regarding their service quality, communication, and accountability.

As a service provider within the Auto Repair Stations category, Buckeye RV Services aims to offer repair and maintenance solutions for RVs. However, based on publicly available reviews, potential customers should be aware of reported issues that deviate considerably from the expected standards of a reliable service center. The environment of Buckeye RV Services, as perceived through customer experiences, appears to lack adequate security measures and potentially efficient workflow management, leading to negative consequences for customers.

The services purportedly offered by Buckeye RV Services include a range of RV repairs, from routine check-ups to more complex warranty work. However, a recurring theme in the customer reviews is the failure to complete critical repairs in a timely and satisfactory manner. One customer recounted a prolonged delay in a crucial roof seal repair, ultimately being asked to pick up their RV without the repair being completed due to the service center being "too busy." This suggests potential issues with workload management, communication regarding timelines, and ultimately, the fulfillment of service promises.

A deeply concerning feature highlighted in the reviews is the alleged lack of responsibility taken for vehicles left in their care. The theft of a catalytic converter from a customer's RV parked in their back lot, which reportedly lacked security cameras and lighting, raises serious questions about the security protocols at Buckeye RV Services. The subsequent denial of responsibility for the theft, with a referral to law enforcement, indicates a lack of accountability for incidents occurring on their premises. This absence of security and the disclaiming of responsibility could be a significant deterrent for RV owners considering their services.

Furthermore, the reviews point to significant communication issues. One customer mentioned the owners "hide behind the office staff" and would not engage directly to address concerns. Another customer reported multiple instances of not receiving promised callbacks, leading to frustration and delays in resolving their RV issues. Effective communication is vital in service industries, especially when dealing with complex repairs and customer expectations. The reported lack of direct communication with owners and missed callbacks suggests a breakdown in customer service protocols.

Beyond the issues with repair completion and communication, there are also concerns raised about the quality of work and attention to detail. One review detailed a diagnostic check that allegedly misidentified the primary problem with a generator, leading to unnecessary battery replacements and ripped carpet due to a less-than-optimal repair approach. The fact that the initial issue remained unresolved, and the customer faced a significant delay for a follow-up appointment despite the initial misdiagnosis, indicates potential shortcomings in diagnostic accuracy and customer follow-up procedures.

The same review also mentioned a lack of basic care for the customer's RV, including the apparent use of a winterized toilet and sticky spills left uncleaned. These details, while seemingly minor, contribute to an overall impression of a service center that may lack attention to detail and respect for customers' property.

Given the overwhelmingly negative sentiment expressed in the available customer reviews, it is challenging to identify any clear promotional advantages or positive features of Buckeye RV Services. The experiences shared by customers serve as strong warnings for potential users. While the business operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, the feedback suggests a significant divergence from the standards of reliable and customer-focused service. Local users considering Buckeye RV Services for their RV repair needs should carefully weigh the potential risks highlighted in these reviews, particularly concerning timely and complete repairs, vehicle security, communication, and overall customer care. It would be prudent for prospective customers to seek additional information and potentially consider alternative service providers with more consistently positive feedback.

Buckeye RV Services Customer Reviews

Think long and hard about taking your RV to Buckeye RV Service for repairs, especially if you have a high-end RV that needs warranty work done in a timely manner. Our experience has been that they will promise to complete all the repairs on the list, but they do not necessarily keep that promise. They do all the small insignificant repairs, and when it’s time to fix the critical repair, a roof seal, two months later they will tell you to come pick it up because they are too busy to get to it. We expected it to be done by then, and had other obligations out of state and couldn’t come get it. Then to add insult to injury, they parked our 2022, 39 foot Thor Challenger in the back lot with no security cameras, so the catalytic converter was stolen off it the weekend before we came to pick it up. We then had to find a place to store it, a place to fix the catalytic converter, and then another place to fix the roof. That new service center can’t even look at the roof for 5 to 6 weeks. We came up to to Ohio because we have family to stay with here, in April, in order to beat the summer rush. Now it’s June, and we can’t get service. I would highly recommend steering clear of Buckeye RV if you need anything more complex than a lightbulb change. They said in writing they were up to the task. They weren’t. The owners will not talk to us. Instead they hide behind the office staff. And when the coach was vandalized, they referred us to law enforcement and told us they are not responsible for anything left on their property. No security cameras. No lighting. No responsibility. No critical repairs. Lots of apologies. There was no water in the coach, and they were told we winterized it, yet someone still used the toilet, as you can see from the picture. They also spilled something sticky by the door and didn’t clean it up. Do your due diligence before you leave your home on wheels with any service center.

So I went there to get a full check up on my car, knowing there is something wrong with the generator I gave them that warning and told him I wanted them to take an extra look at the generator. They did the full inspection they told me I had a leak in my roof and that my RV Just needed the batteries replaced. So I took their advice and replace the batteries in the house. The tech working on it ripped through the carpet (with my permission) because I was told there is no other way to replace it. The first thing that went wrong I come to find out there was a much better way to get to the batteries without having to rip my carpet apart, The second thing is the batteries didn’t fix my generator problem. The third thing is I left with the car not working as i was told all I needed to do is fill it up on gas because it was under the quarter of a tank and my generator runs off the gas. I returned the next day because my generator was still not working and not only did they not refund me any money which I understand because they did the work but they refused to get my vehicle in for another 6 to 8 weeks after they let me leave with the car not working even though I paid and requested to get that fixed from the get-go. The girl in the office doesn’t even know how to give directions to the location, and they clearly don’t know how to treat work that comes back because they didn’t do it right the first time. Throughout this entire process I was not called back multiple times where I was told I would Hearing from them within the day. Ultimately most of my frustration lies with the fact that they couldn’t fix my product charged me for something that didn’t fix my product and then couldn’t get me in to fix my product that they charge me to fix already even when I was willing to pay more to fix the problem that they obviously didn’t find during the first check up. I really hate leaving this review because I love supporting small businesses and you can tell that this is a small business that probably is managed all right but my personal experience was terrible and it was mostly due to the front clerk. Although the fact that they ripped through my carpet instead of doing a little bit more diligence to verify also frustrating me but at the end of the day I gave the permission for that.

I'll be honest, I called inquiring about getting my RV repaired after it was damaged as a result of a dump truck running a red light. I respect the honesty of the service manager for telling me that they are more than willing and able to repair my camper but parts availability has been hit or miss and the repairs may not be completed before the start of the 2022 camping season. In the end I sold my damaged camper and took my repair money and combined them to buy a new toy hauler.

This is THE BEST place in NE Ohio to get work done on your RV. I take my Class C here for everything, oil changes, radio repair, interior and exterior updates. They are always on time, prices are fair for the industry and you are treated like a family member. If you are sick and tired of dealing with camping world or the other big box chains, give them a call. You will not be disappointed!!

I have only used their sanitary dump because of its convenience to where I park. That was before they did body work and fixed several minor problems. Scheduling, pricing and repair turn around are all top drawer. 👌
