I was recommended to bring my car here. Not knowing that was the biggest mistake and how I would regret it. Paying 276 $ for the owner to 6quarts of transmission oil in my car….. Wasn’t done. Did not No he didn’t change my transmission oil. Then he said there was a leak to bring it back so he could check it out…… Once again not knowing he never change the transmission oil. The old oil was still in there….. Brought it back he had my car from 8:00 am called me in the afternoon to tell me about the leak.And said to me he needed to clean the oil off. Before he could see. That would be 150$ So when I came to the shop to check on my car. It was just sitting there. I called him he didn’t know I was there. He told me he was with my car. Doing the work . But he didn’t know I was looking right at my car. Until he walked towards my car. The look on his face let me know he would have robbed me again….. How disgusting

I recently took my Ford Excursion to Borker Transmission Service in Bayonne, NJ, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They provided top-notch service at a fair price, completing the work promptly and efficiently. Unlike some other shops in the area, Borker Transmission is honest and straightforward, they communicate anything they find immediately and most importantly they don’t try to upsell unnecessary services or overcharge. Their professionalism and integrity have earned my trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of work. I’ll definitely be returning for any future repairs.

I would use Borker Transmission Service Inc. again in a minute. During a visit to Bayonne, my little car began experiencing some issues, at first they seemed not too serious, but were steadily worsening and worrying. the transmission seemed to be slipping. Not a good thing. We had a 7 hour trip home to Ottawa, Ontario the next day, and I didn't want to have a big breakdown along the way. Overheard at the dog park, discussing with my son, a young man recommended a nearby Service Station named Harrington's; if I wanted to have Pearl checked out. (Pearl is my car). Off to Harrington's I went. They were affable and able to take a look; after taking Pearl for a test drive, Chuck suggested I call Borker Transmission and ask for Vito. Vito was polite, professional, and very helpful. He made space in his evening and the next morning to 'diagnose' Pearl, (corroded lines and leaks), perform a little fabrication magic, install the aforementioned, top her up and scope her. Borker Transmission Service Inc had us on our way by noon. Vito was clear and concise about the work and the alternatives. He managed my expectations without talking down to me. As a mature woman I appreciate the respect and consideration, he made no assumptions. Though I wish the exchange rate CAD - USD was a little better right now.

My daughter brought in her 2010 Mazda cx 9 for a sound she was hearing. Long story short just as all these other bad reviews we had a HORRIBLE experience with this shop! We were first told about a transfer case needing to be replaced. Which we were going to do until they called back and said they canceled the new transfer case. But that they already took apart the car and now it needs a new transmission and we’d have to pay for them to put on the old transfer case. I spoke to Vito the owner and have both him and his worker Stew on recording being very rude and giving me a hard time trying to resolve the situation. All I wanted was an invoice paper stating what they saw and what they did and he refused. All they do is give run arounds and change their story every chance they get. Thankfully I have them on recording because I realized they are LIARS and want to take advantage of people who need help. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. If anyone needs help after taking their vehicle here I would recommend filing a report with the BBB( Better Business Bureau) and the FTC (877)382-4357. They will do a federal investigation on the shop and collect a group of people to file a suit and make sure this shop does everything properly and if they see the shop doesn’t they will take care of everyone who was wronged and possibly shut them down. I hope we can all come together and make sure they don’t take advantage of anyone else. P.s : Vito, please email me the invoice of everything done to my daughter’s car!
