A few weeks ago I was on my way to LAX to go on a week-long business trip. Everything was going well until I got sideswiped. My car wasn’t drivable. When I called AAA, I was freaking. They suggested I take my car to Blue Lake Motors. I went with the tow guy to their shop and told Garrett about problem. He was great and understood that I needed it fixed in just a few days. When I returned, it was perfect down to the paint. If they can pull this off, they can fix your car. Thumbs WAY UP!

In this case I went to Blue Lake Motors because I had a bit of extra cash and wanted something broken on my car that had been broken when I bought the car. I wasn't in a foul mood and I knew how much it was going to be. So I paid and the guy was fair with me. Not overpriced but I probably would have paid more because it was something I couldn't do on my own. I wish I knew more about cars. I'm sure it would save me money. But these guys were great and I'd go again.

Worst Experience Ever, had my car for over 40 days, with new excuse everytime. Provided me a rental car as the insurance company was paying the body shop for it. Worst came when I got charged $883 on my credit card from Enterprise rental car after talking to Enterprise came to know Blue Lake Body Shop never paid rental company that's why they charged me. Very bad experience, I end up paying 4483 for no fault of mine, very unprofessional company. Avoid them and save yourself from problems.

I recently had an accident and took my car to Blue Lake Motors. Besides the speed of service and extreme care to keep me informed on the status of my car, I was fascinated by the professionalism and dedication of the staff, specially Garrett, who did everything to give me my car on the stipulated date. It's a service that I will definitely use again, I hope that is not the same cause.

Love Blue Lake Motors, I highly recommend it!! This used to be my go-to place for tune-ups, fender-benders, etc. They care about giving customers a good deal and will always be honest about the work that needs to be done. Ask for Edgar. He's great. My only regret is that I used to live close by LAX but have since moved to other side of town (Los Feliz) so I don't get to visit this place that often. But for Westsiders looking for an affordable, no-hassle mechanic I would totally recommend it.
