Very happy to have found this shop in a very small town. I spoke to a couple of locals and found two other reviews, who were all complementary of Chris at Blackhawk. I needed a used truck checked out before purchasing it. He was extremely thorough, treating the vehicle as if it were for his own family. He would have done it for free, but since I am not going to be a regular customer, I insisted that his time and expertise deserved payment, and paid him for his regular one-hour of labor charge (around $60). I felt good about the recommendations I received, and now would add my recommendation of Blackhawk Auto and Truck Repair.

I took my Lexus GX470 with more than 200,000 miles to Backhawk Auto for it's second timing belt replacement. The job was done in expert fashion and even though it was not inexpensive I have the peace of mind to know it was done right. Since the job I have driven this car more than 20,000 additional miles with no trouble what so ever. Good Repair Shop. Highly Recommended (September 2021 repair)
