Went to get my topper resealed and new shocks installed in the windows. Was told that the hinge broke off my window when they took the shocks off and it needs to be replaced ~$600 for a new one. I paid and left after they said the window had fallen out and that it was unrepairable…. Once I got home, I spent about 30 seconds with my buddy and was able to get the hinge back in where it needed to be and fully repaired back to normal use. Have to go buy shocks somewhere else I guess. Supposed to be easy maintenance :/

Stopped in to chat about crossbar options. Was greater with a rude “what do you need?” after waiting a few minutes. Received a ludicrous quote. Promptly left. Can’t speak to the quality of service as I never purchased anything. Dark Horse Customs in Four Corners took care of me. Rad group of guys, great customer service, awesome rigs. Will be using them for all related services.

I had mike add some tracks to a brand new canopy. My expectation was this is pretty simple and professionals will get it right without much fuss. Boy was I wrong I came to pick up the topper and noticed the tracks were too long for the canopy. I was not happy as I have a rule about drilling “extra holes” in my canopy. And holes have now been drilled at the absolute longest part of the track so there’s no way to shorten the track without more holes. Mike minimized my concerns, tried to convince me this is something people want, then tried to tell me it’s totally normal and they look like this from the factory, then finally says if I’m gonna be a “douch” about it then maybe he can get me back in to fix it. It’s a small thing I guess but I was looking for perfect, or just exactly what I saw when I walked around looking at every other canopy on the property. Gaslighting me and basically using language that blames me for where we are. He called me back once but stopped returning messages, I assume he would have tried to “fix” it but again there’s nothing to be done if I don’t want superfluous holes in the canopy. I’ll share some pics and you can be the judge. Either I’m a douch or Mike makes mistakes and blames his customers. I’m ok with the mistake, I’m very unhappy I paid over $300 for this..
