Auto & Truck of Williamsburg Introduce
Auto & Truck of Williamsburg, located at 138 W Main St in Williamsburg, Ohio, operates as an auto repair station offering services for both cars and trucks. They can be reached at (513) 724-2200 or +1 513-724-2200. While their name suggests a broad range of automotive repair and towing capabilities, recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding their business practices, particularly concerning pricing, service quality, and professionalism. As an "Auto Repair Station," the expectation is to provide reliable and trustworthy services; however, the feedback available online strongly suggests potential issues in these areas.
Based on the severely negative customer reviews, the services offered by Auto & Truck of Williamsburg appear to include towing and a variety of mechanical repairs for both cars and trucks. One customer explicitly mentions seeking a tow for a truck experiencing fuel issues and subsequently entrusting the repair work to this establishment. This indicates that they function as a combined towing and repair service. However, the experiences shared detail significant problems arising from both their towing charges and their repair services.
The environment portrayed in the customer reviews is far from professional or customer-friendly. The recurring themes of dishonesty, overcharging, and incompetence create a negative impression. One review alleges predatory behavior, accusing the business of exploiting a "helpless handicapped person" by charging an exorbitant $1,300 for a short-distance tow. The language used is strong, labeling the owner a "con artist" and suggesting that such pricing should be considered criminal. This paints a picture of an environment where vulnerable individuals may be taken advantage of.
Another detailed review describes a highly unsatisfactory repair experience for a truck with fuel issues. The customer reports being charged a substantial amount ($3,000 initially, and an additional $1,200 later) for what they believe were unnecessary parts replacements. Despite these charges totaling over $4,000, the truck's original problem was allegedly not resolved until taken to another mechanic who identified the fuel filter as the issue – a part Auto & Truck of Williamsburg reportedly did not replace. This review also mentions unprofessional behavior, such as failing to reinstall an inner fender well and then being dishonest about it. The overall sentiment is one of being "ripped off" by "very unprofessional and inexperienced mechanics."
Features of Auto & Truck of Williamsburg, as described negatively by the customer reviews, include:
- Excessive and Unjustified Pricing: Multiple reviews cite instances of gross overcharging, particularly for towing services.
- Dishonest Practices: Accusations of lying and exploiting vulnerable customers are prominent in the feedback.
- Incompetent or Inexperienced Mechanics: One reviewer explicitly labels the mechanics as "inexperienced," leading to misdiagnosis and unnecessary repairs.
- Poor Service Quality: Failures to resolve the initial problem despite significant charges and overlooking basic tasks like reinstalling parts are reported.
- Unprofessional Behavior: The account of dishonesty regarding the missing fender well further underscores a lack of professionalism.
- Lack of Transparency: The implication is that customers were charged for unnecessary work without proper justification or resolution of the actual issue.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided data. Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the recent reviews, it is unlikely that any current promotions would outweigh the serious concerns raised about their business practices. Potential customers are strongly advised to prioritize these negative experiences over any potential promotional offers.
For local users in Williamsburg, OH, who are in need of auto repair or towing services, the recent customer feedback regarding Auto & Truck of Williamsburg should serve as a significant warning. The allegations of predatory pricing, dishonesty, and incompetent service are severe and repeated across multiple reviews. While it is important to consider all information objectively, the consistency and gravity of these complaints should not be ignored. Proceeding with caution and seeking alternative auto repair and towing services in the area would be a prudent approach.
Local users might want to consider the following before engaging with Auto & Truck of Williamsburg:
- Thoroughly researching other auto repair and towing options in the Williamsburg, OH area.
- Seeking recommendations from trusted friends, family, or online community groups.
- Obtaining multiple quotes for any required service to ensure fair pricing.
- Checking the reputation and reviews of other auto service providers on various online platforms.
- Documenting all communications and agreements in writing before any work is performed.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Auto & Truck of Williamsburg in Williamsburg, OH, raise serious red flags regarding their pricing practices, service quality, and professionalism. The strong accusations of overcharging, dishonesty, and incompetence should give local users significant pause. While every business can have isolated negative experiences, the consistency and severity of the complaints against Auto & Truck of Williamsburg warrant extreme caution. It would be advisable for those seeking auto repair or towing services in the area to thoroughly explore alternative options with more positive and reliable reputations.

Con artist. Charged a little person $1,300 to pull a car out of a ditch and tow his car 1 mile. Saw a helpless handicapped person and decided that meant $$$$$. Also a liar. No obstacles in the way. No insurance involved. No rush hour traffic. State highway in the country nowhere near town. It was a straight pull on to a flat bed and towed about a mile. $1,300 charge should be criminal. Multiple reviews of similar reports on this con artist. Takes advantage of helpless people and grossly overcharges. This guy should be in jail. PERIOD.

I really hate to give a bad review but I don’t want to see anyone else get ripped off. I would NOT recommend anyone to get their trucks worked on at Danbury auto and truck of Williamsburg. I Was having fuel issues with my truck and needed a tow. So after calling around to a few tow companies, Danbury said they would be able to tow my truck. since they were towing my truck. I went ahead and let them work on it. They replaced unnecessary parts charging me a total of $3000 the first time. then I picked up the truck it was still not right I called them told them it’s doing the exact same thing. So I took it back the next day. they had it another week and said it was a fuel line that had air in it. They changed more unnecessary parts and charged me another $1200. I went ahead and paid them. they Said it was fixed now. I got my truck back still having the same issues. I took it back to them the same day and Had the mechanic ride with me to see what it was doing exactly. They said drop it off the next day and they will (look at it) again. I decided after paying them over $4000 I can’t afford for them to play guessing games with my truck. So I took it to a different mechanic noticed my inner fender well was missing which danbury did not put back on. I went back to get my inner fender and the guy swore He put it back on my truck and said it wasn’t there. then as I go to leave, he picks it up by a garbage can and hands it to me. Didn’t offer to put it back on my truck. They Did Not change the fuel filter, which was the whole issue to begin with. so with that being said, it cost me over $4000 to have a fuel filter replaced. I very upset with this business. Very unprofessional and inexperienced mechanics. I wouldn’t recommend taking any vehicles to them to work on. I would give zero stars, but I have to at least give them one apparently.

Had them install a new muffler on my car. They had it done quickly and even took the time to paint their welds. I will recommend them to family and friends and will use them again

This family owned business is rock solid. Everyone goes it of there way to help and resolve issues for their customers. When I pulled into the truck bay, the lead mechanic greeted me and explained the process of flushing the brake fluid exactly. I was in and out of there in 90 minutes and very satisfied with the quality of workmanship. I will be a loyal customer going forward.

Worst and most unprofessional auto repair I have ever been to. I called on tuesday to get them to check out some lights that popped on my dash. I was never given an oral or written estimate so I assumed that them just reading the code was free. They call me 4 hours later to tell me i owe them 165 dollars after they completed a service I was never asked about. I paid for it because im a pushover then last night it pops back up. I call this morning and the lady at the front (i dont know her name but she needs to find another job) told me that i couldnt get them to check it out until next week. She had the worst attitude I had ever seen. She tried to lie about giving me an estimate before finally admitting it herself that she didn't. I dont know if the older gentleman named Bob is the owner but I hope he sees what kind of person she is after that. She told me to never come back so I wont. They even have it on their wall that they have to LEGALLY give me a written or oral estimate which I got neither of. Do not waste your time or money here. They are rude, unprofessional, and will try to steal your money however they can.
