Auto Repair Specialists Inc Introduce

Welcome to Auto Repair Specialists Inc, located at 1120 N Main St, Blacksburg, VA 24060, USA. As a local Auto Repair Station, Auto Repair Specialists Inc is positioned to offer automotive repair and maintenance services to the Blacksburg community and surrounding areas. You can contact them by phone at (540) 552-3345 or via their mobile number at +1 540-552-3345. While specific details about their environment, comprehensive service offerings, features, and promotional information are not fully available, we can provide an objective introduction based on the existing customer feedback.

Situated on North Main Street in Blacksburg, Virginia, Auto Repair Specialists Inc is likely accessible to residents in the area seeking automotive services. As a typical auto repair station, they would operate from a facility equipped with service bays and the necessary tools and diagnostic equipment to address various vehicle issues. Customers might expect a standard auto shop environment where mechanics work on vehicles. The presence of multiple employees mentioned by name in one review ("Thanks Alex, Brian, David, John, and Rob") suggests a team-based operation.

The limited customer reviews for Auto Repair Specialists Inc present a mixed picture, with one positive comment and one highly negative account. One customer expressed gratitude towards several employees, stating, "The employees were very helpful throughout my work truck getting repaired at their shop. Thanks Alex, Brian, David, John, and Rob." This positive feedback indicates that at least one customer experienced helpful service during the repair of their work truck, suggesting a level of professionalism and assistance from the staff involved.

However, another customer shared a significantly contrasting and alarming experience, using strong accusatory language: "BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! These guys are a total scam, exploiting and profiting from people and Virginia tech students like me! I got scammed—the biggest scam of my life—and I never thought people could be this dishonest and thieving. I took my 2015 Jeep Compass to them to fix a heating issue, and their first response was to jokingly suggest I should throw it in the trash. After deciding to fix it, they charged me around $350. Within 24 hours, the same problem resurfaced which might planned it on purpose. When I went back, they told me it would now cost over $4000 ++ to fix, without any guarantee it would work. They pressured me to salvage it, saying I couldn't park it there for long. In the end, I felt forced to sell them the car for just $250! Within a week, I saw my car outside Food Lion, looking like brand-new car with new tires, Lisence plate and inspection. How can these people sleep at night after doing this and scamming a struggling college student? I have to expose them everywhere for what they are, and I’m looking into legal ways to sue them. Brian and team, Remember, what goes around comes around!"

This detailed and strongly worded negative review alleges a series of highly concerning actions, including:

  • Suggesting trashing the vehicle instead of repair.
  • Charging for a repair that allegedly failed within 24 hours.
  • Providing a drastically higher subsequent repair estimate without a guarantee of success.
  • Pressuring the customer to sell the vehicle to them for a very low price.
  • Allegedly refurbishing and reselling the vehicle quickly for a significant profit.
  • Accusations of dishonesty, theft, and exploiting customers, particularly Virginia Tech students.

Given the stark contrast between the two available reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Auto Repair Specialists Inc based solely on this limited information. The positive review suggests that some customers experience helpful service, while the negative review raises serious concerns about potential business practices.

As an Auto Repair Station, Auto Repair Specialists Inc would generally be expected to offer a range of automotive services, which typically include:

  • General Maintenance: Such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Brake Services: Including brake repair and replacement.
  • Engine Repair: Addressing various engine issues.
  • Transmission Services: Handling transmission maintenance and repair.
  • Steering and Suspension: Working on steering and suspension components.
  • Electrical System Services: Repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems.
  • Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC): Servicing vehicle climate control systems.
  • Exhaust System Services: Repairing or replacing exhaust components.
  • Diagnostic Services: Identifying the causes of vehicle problems.

However, in the absence of a comprehensive service list from Auto Repair Specialists Inc, it is not possible to confirm the full scope of their offerings. Potential customers may need to inquire directly about the specific services they require.

Similarly, there is no information available regarding any specific features that might distinguish Auto Repair Specialists Inc from other auto repair stations in the area. Factors such as specialization in certain types of vehicles, specific certifications, or unique service offerings could be relevant, but this information is not provided in the current data.

There is also no information about any promotional offers or discounts that Auto Repair Specialists Inc might be providing to attract customers. It is common for auto repair shops to have occasional specials, but this would need to be verified by contacting them directly.

In conclusion, Auto Repair Specialists Inc in Blacksburg, VA, is an Auto Repair Station located on North Main Street. The available customer feedback presents a drastically contrasting view, with one customer reporting helpful service and another alleging a significant scam involving a heating repair and subsequent vehicle sale. Due to this conflicting information and the lack of comprehensive details about their services, environment, features, and promotions, it is crucial for potential customers to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging their services. Contacting Auto Repair Specialists Inc directly to inquire about their services, pricing, and business practices is strongly recommended. Additionally, seeking multiple opinions and checking for further reviews from other sources may provide a more comprehensive understanding of their reputation and service quality.

My go-to garage since 1997. Skilled mechanics who listen and know not everyone is made of money. They've kept my European, Japanese, American, and British cars on the road for 200k miles and more. Brion also sells cars. Check them out.

The WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. Visited the shop for the state inspection. The tall white employee talked horrible stuff about their owner and was trying to make sure not to look for him if anyone comes. Called me back after few hours saying he cannot pass my inspection which was fine and saying he will not put reject sticker. I was explaining the car came as without the reflector and I got passed from toyota last year. Therefore he said he will call me back. I did not get any contact back so i just stopped by and saw the reject sticker on it ( which was fine) However, He started to yelling at me and cursing at me saying that “ you effing questioned me so I am giving you reject sticker you effing shlt. “ Well I believe I do not deserved to hear that when I, as a customer went to do the inspection and I was fine with the sticker. I went back to toyota and got passed. I will do my best to stop all of my members in all car clubs to not go to this place. This was a horrible experience i ever had and definitely need to be addressed

Idk if hes the owner, but Brian is the most miserable excuse of a service manager or owner. He treats customers like garbage. Yells at them and berates them, also does the same to his technicians. Brought a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in for a simple misfire in #3 cylinder. Very common carbon tracking for Subarus. After the test drive they came back and told me that I would need a new engine and that the #4 piston has erosion, burned spot on it. It was never throwing a misfire code for cylinder number 4. But evidently after their repair they somehow managed to catastrophically damage the engine. Had to go to the dealership and buy a used Crosstrek just to make it back across the country to the Midwest. I wouldn't recommend the shop to my worst enemy
