Auto Repair Specialist

Poor and not up front business. Tells me they aren't going to charge me a diagnostic fee. Their quote was extremely high so l decided to take elsewhere. Ends up charging the diagnostic fee anyway because I didn't have them fix the repair. Not very transparent with their communication. Response: I fully understand the rationale behind why you needed to charge the diagnostic fee. However your communication over the phone was not clear. You made no mention of the fact that you would waive the fee ONLY if the repair was done. Instead of responding with ‘You were aware that we were waiving the diagnostic fee if the job was completed.’ A better response would be ‘I apologize if we did not make that point clear over the phone.’ Obviously I did not understand that point or I would not be taking the time to make my first review ever.

I have been going here for my Tune-in Tune-out, Valley Smog Program started. I have treated with respect that I am a single mother, not knowing much. They explain to me in a way I understood. Thank you.... A return client.

I took my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 to Auto Repair Specialist and they did a great job with my truck. The employees were very friendly and helpful and kept the cost of repairs very fair for the amount of work done on my truck. Thank you all at ARS for the work you preformed I will definitely recommend you to friends and family and will always bring my vehicles to you guys first.

Called to make appointment for my Mazda that I took to them last year for a smog and they worked on it last year and everything was really great so I decided to go back to them and now they tell me that they DO NOT work on mazda and not sure why either the lady said. Weird but I guess.

I can't say enough about the awesome customer service provided by this company, it was very refreshing. From the inquiry phone call to the smog technician ,the staff were really good listeners and explained clearly . The location was easy to find and away from busy city traffic making it convenient . The office, shop and grounds were clean and organized. Would highly recommend this company.
