After spending 3k between 3 trips with 3 different reasons for the same problem, fenton auto lap found the issue for 240 bucks. There prices have been hands down better than anywhere. $39 to diagnose unlike places charging 100+ an hour. Had an issue, took my jeep, before I left the parking lot they came out and said they figured it out, no charge. AAA discount

My rear differential went out in my vehicle and just my luck they are not available through Ford with no ETA. Mike was extremely helpful and was able to locate the part. Although it was extremely overpriced that is not his fault just shortage of parts so everyone is price gouging. They were able to fix my car within a day of having the part. They were friendly, and professional. I didn't realize the labor they charged per hour was $146, but I needed it fixed and they got the job done. I do here a slight rattle which I will monitor for a few days. I would definitely take my car back to them. Thank you Mike and team for getting my car safe for my kids!! This was a hugenit right before Christmas. Come on FORD get this part right. With over 140 on backorder and no ETA there is obviously an issue!!

Do not trust Fenton Auto Lab, they do not honor warranty agreements provided after repairs. I had a battery fail that was under warranty and Fenton Auto lab told me they would order a new one and call me when it ready to come in and they would change it out. About 1 week later after no feedback and car would not start I called. They informed me that they changed battery suppliers, and I had to take car of it myself. I spoke to the owner Mike he told me he would help me to get this sorted to set up time with him and he would send someone with me. Of course, I called back several times and no return calls from the owner or effort to resolve. I removed the battery and took the battery to the supplier myself they exchanged without any issue and questioned me why Auto lab was not doing the warranty exchanges. I really could not answer of course Mike finally spoke to me after I a resolved everything and had to call again myself but offered nothing to me other than the situation could have been handled better when i told him this was not an acceptable way for me to have to do the work and warranty my the parts under Fenton Auto lab responsibility. They are not honest do not trust them take your business someplace else.

Fair prices fast and extremely trustworthy Took my ford edge to another shop spent 900 to replace sensors that didn't fix my issues.... then found auto labs they identified the issue fixed it and had my vehicle back in 2 days... I went to this shop because they test then replace not just replace and say ooops not it .... Mike is a friendly helpful owner and tech and I will be bring all my vehicles to auto labs. (I have read the 1 star reviews and I feel they do not represent the owner or shop fairly they have been the best shop I have been to in over 25 years)

Do not recommend!!! It took them 15 days to "fix" my car, with no communication, finally got my car back, only to discover that they had not only welded my oil pan improperly, but also never hooked my suspension back up. I never heard back from the owner, who will now be dealing with the attorney general. Theyre lucky I didn't die driving home to NC from MI

*** LONG POST PLEASE READ**** it just might save you. I don't even know where to begin. At first i was civil about the first incident but after finding out more information about the issues with my jeep I am absolutely furious. I spoke highly of auto lab and recommended them to everyone. I have taken a ford escape, my old Mitsubishi, and my current jeep up there. I purchased my car from a dealership a few months back and starting having issues, so i took my car to auto lab because it was closer and I trusted them. or so i thought. I went in there originally because my car would not start. and had stated my struts were bad. and instead was informed my sway links were faulty. so i got my links "replaced" and my "starter replaced" there was no mention of my struts at this point in time. I was still hearing clunking noises so my boyfriend took my vehicle to his recommended shop because i could not take anymore time off from work to go back down to Fenton. I was informed that my SWAY LINKS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. to which i responded that i just got them fixed. They SHOWED me the defective part. long story short they charged me for TWO links and replaced ONE, because I was told they were sold in a set... NOT TRUE... BUT WAIT THERES MORE!! I called back to get a refund I accepted that. ONLY THEN DID THEY FINALLY INFORM ME THAT MY STRUTS WERE INDEED GOING BAD. I then took my car BACK to the dealership confused on why these things were not fixed prior to purchase. they pulled up the inspection report and stated that my STARTER had been REPLACED in December among a list of other things. so now I can assume they not only charged me for a starter that I didn't need, had they just looked at the connection cables I Iwouldn't have had this issue. and then charged me for TWO links and replaced ONE. They are only getting one star because the front desk person was very kind to me. otherwise I would put negative stars. as a COMPANY. SHAME ON YOU. THAT WAS SUPER SHADY. in a world where people are already hesitant to get their cars fixed because of shady mechanics, WRONG PERSON TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF. ALL I HAVE TO SAY WAS THANK GOD FOR MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. if I didn't have that, I definitely would've filed a lawsuit. and will be contacting my extended warranty company and letting them know what kind of business auto lab does. *** EDITED AS OF 3.18.25** I REACHED OUT YESTERDAY AND WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A PHONE CALL BACK ONCE THE GENERAL MANAGER MIKE GETS BACK IN OFFICE AFTER HIS LUNCH BREAK AND I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK*** I GUESS MIKE DOESN'T CARE.

Do not recommend. Tried charging me almost $1,000 for breaks and roaders. Inflation is a thing but that’s crazy. I called 4 other shops while they had my vehicle and they all gave me a price around $650. They did knock the price down for me though so that’s not my main issue. When I got my vehicle back it wreaked of gas and that lasted for a week. Finally popped my hood and there was oil all over the place, they checked my oil but did not put the dipstick back in. I had zero oil pretty much in my car, they’re lucky it didn’t blow up cause I’d sue. 1/10.

My son took his Jeep there. They charged him a 1,000.00 to fix a oil leak, was suppose to rotate tires never did. Oil leak is still there. He took it back in a second time and it came out without the plugs. Said it was fixed and would order the plugs and call him. Never happened. They said oil was changed not sure if it happened or not. Will never use then for anything again.
