Welcome to ASU Euro Car, located at 9930 Jones Bridge Rd in Alpharetta, Georgia. Operating within the Auto Repair Stations category, ASU Euro Car indicates a specialization in the repair and maintenance of European automobiles. While the name suggests expertise in European makes, it is crucial for local users to consider all available information, including customer experiences, to form an objective understanding of the services provided. The following introduction aims to present an unbiased overview based solely on the provided customer review.
Information regarding the specific environment of ASU Euro Car is not detailed in the provided customer feedback. However, a typical Auto Repair Station specializing in European vehicles would likely feature a workshop equipped with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to these makes, such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and others. One might expect service bays staffed by technicians with training and experience in working with the complex systems found in European cars. A customer reception area would also be present for clients to discuss their vehicle's issues and manage the service process. The overall environment would ideally reflect professionalism and competence in handling high-end European automobiles.
Based on the single customer review provided, ASU Euro Car offers repair services for European vehicles, specifically mentioning work on a vehicle requiring parts sourced from Germany. The review also indicates their capability to address transmission-related issues, as evidenced by the diagnosis and attempted repair of a faulty transmission module. It can be inferred that ASU Euro Car likely provides a range of services common to European car repair shops, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for various mechanical and electrical systems specific to these vehicles. However, the quality and efficiency of these services, as perceived by the reviewed customer, warrant careful consideration.
The primary feature highlighted in the customer review is the extended repair timeline. The initial repair took nearly six weeks to complete, which the customer attributed to parts being shipped from Germany. While sourcing specialized parts internationally can sometimes lead to delays, the communication and handling of this timeframe, as described, raise concerns. Another significant feature mentioned is a discrepancy between the quoted repair cost and the final charge, with the final bill being $700 higher than the initial quote documented in the mechanic's handwriting. This lack of adherence to the quoted price is a critical point for potential customers to note.
Furthermore, the review details a subsequent issue with the transmission module shortly after the initial repair. The diagnosis attributed this to water damage. The handling of this subsequent issue is a major point of concern. The customer's vehicle was kept for nearly two months with promises of repair contingent on a third-party company programming the module, supposedly due to its tie-in with the security system. The requirement for the customer to provide a copy of their driver's license for authorization from Mercedes adds another layer to this complex and prolonged process. Ultimately, the owner reportedly advised the customer to take the vehicle to Mercedes for repair, suggesting a limitation in ASU Euro Car's ability to resolve the issue despite having the car for an extended period.
For local users in Alpharetta, GA, seeking an Auto Repair Station specializing in European cars, ASU Euro Car at 9930 Jones Bridge Rd presents a cautionary tale based on the available customer review. The experience described includes a lengthy initial repair, a significant overcharge compared to the quoted price, and a prolonged, ultimately unsuccessful attempt to repair a subsequent issue. The customer's inability to recommend the shop after being without their car for three months and incurring additional expenses for a borrowed vehicle and its insurance during this time is a serious indicator of potential service and communication challenges. Local users should carefully consider this feedback before entrusting their European vehicles to ASU Euro Car.
Currently, no promotional information is available for ASU Euro Car based on the provided data. Auto Repair Stations may occasionally offer discounts on specific services or introductory offers for new customers. However, given the negative experience detailed in the review, local users might prioritize researching other European car repair options in the Alpharetta area before considering any potential promotions from ASU Euro Car. It would be prudent to seek out shops with more consistently positive customer feedback regarding service timelines, pricing transparency, and the effectiveness of their repairs.
In conclusion, ASU Euro Car in Alpharetta, GA, specializes in the repair of European vehicles. However, the single customer review available paints a concerning picture of lengthy repair times, discrepancies in pricing, and unresolved issues leading to significant inconvenience and expense for the customer. Local users seeking reliable service for their European cars in Alpharetta are strongly advised to take this feedback into account and potentially explore alternative Auto Repair Stations with more positive and consistent track records.

ASU Euro Car Customer Reviews
I dropped off my car for a repair end of December. I was told that the parts were coming from Germany. After a few weeks, I said I would pickup the car, but they said the parts were pre-paid so I couldn't get it. It took nearly 6 weeks to complete the repairs. When I finally picked up the car, they charged me $700 more than they quoted. I actually saw the mechanic's handwriting with the quoted amount on it. Two days later a transmission module went out (supposedly from being wet according to the mechanic Sam). They said they could fix it. Every week I called, they said they were waiting on a company to come program the module since it was tied to the security system. They had me send a copy of my driver's license so they could send to Mercedes to authorize the repair. They kept the car nearly 2 months telling me they would fix it. When I finally had enough, I called the owner and he said I had to bring it to Mercedes and that I should have called him first rather than talking to the mechanic working on the car who quoted me the repairs....I do not understand this?. I towed it to Mercedes and it was fixed in a day. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place any longer as I was without my car for 3 months and I had to borrow a car for this time and pay insurance on it for the entire period it collected dust at their shop.
