Amigo Tires Introduce

Amigo Tires, located at 6809 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89117, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, offering a range of services centered around tires and general automotive care. This establishment, like many in the auto service industry, aims to provide solutions for vehicle owners, particularly concerning tire sales and installation. However, based on customer feedback, prospective patrons should approach Amigo Tires with a clear understanding of their service model and a proactive stance on pricing.

Regarding the environment, the provided information does not offer extensive details about the physical appearance or waiting area of Amigo Tires. As a tire and auto service center, one can generally expect a functional and practical setup. The primary focus of such establishments is typically on the service bays where vehicles are attended to, and a customer reception area for inquiries and transactions. The nature of the reviews suggests that the emphasis might be more on the transactional aspect of tire sales and service rather than a luxurious customer experience. The location on a main boulevard like W Charleston Blvd indicates accessibility for local residents and commuters in Las Vegas.

The core services provided by Amigo Tires primarily revolve around the sale and installation of tires, encompassing both new and used options. Customers typically visit for immediate needs such as tire replacement due to punctures or wear. Beyond just tires, publicly available information suggests that Amigo Tires offers a broader range of automotive services including brake repair, oil changes, alignments, axle, CV joint & driveshaft repair, belts & hoses, climate control systems, cooling system repair, diesel engine repair, differential repair, electrical and electronic systems, engine diagnostics and performance, exhaust system repair, glass repair and replacement, lube, oil & filter change, nitrogen inflation, preventive maintenance, starting, charging & batteries, steering and suspension system, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) services, transmission repair, vehicle inspection, and wheel services. This suggests a comprehensive auto care center capable of addressing various vehicle needs.

However, a significant feature that emerges from customer experiences is the approach to pricing and communication. Multiple reviews highlight a lack of upfront and transparent pricing. One customer recounts being quoted a price for a new tire, only to be charged a significantly higher amount at the point of payment, with additional "base pay" for the wheel not being discussed beforehand. Similarly, another customer noted a quick price quote for new tires that was later found to be considerably higher than prices for the same tires purchased elsewhere online. This suggests a potential area for improvement in their customer service, specifically concerning clarity on costs before service commencement. The absence of visible prices around the building or inside the lobby, as mentioned by a customer, further contributes to this perception of opaque pricing.

Another aspect highlighted is the customer service interaction. While one review acknowledges that the job was "gotten done," it also points out that the service was "not the best." This indicates that while the technical work may be completed, the interpersonal communication and customer experience might not always meet expectations. In an emergency situation, such as a popped tire, customers might prioritize immediate service, leading them to locations like Amigo Tires, even if the pricing transparency is not ideal. This highlights a market niche that Amigo Tires may serve for urgent, on-the-spot tire solutions.

Given the feedback, some key features of Amigo Tires appear to be:

  • Availability of New and Used Tires: They cater to different budget needs by offering both brand new and pre-owned tires.
  • Broad Range of Auto Services: Beyond just tires, they provide a wide array of general auto repair and maintenance services.
  • Quick Service for Urgent Needs: Customers in emergency situations, like a flat tire, seem to be able to get their vehicle serviced relatively quickly.
  • Potential for Cost Savings (with caution): While some customers report higher prices than expected, their offering of used tires or competitive pricing on certain services might present savings opportunities if prices are thoroughly confirmed upfront.

Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include specific advertisements, discounts, or special offers directly from Amigo Tires. However, the customer reviews themselves, while mixed, offer a form of organic promotion. The positive aspect of quick service for emergencies is a practical benefit that can attract customers. The contrasting experiences with pricing, however, serve as a cautionary note for potential customers. For those considering Amigo Tires, the implicit "promotional" advice from past customers is to "ALWAYS ASK" for detailed, itemized pricing breakdowns prior to any service being performed to avoid unexpected charges. This proactive approach by the consumer is crucial when dealing with this particular establishment, given the experiences shared online.

For individuals in Las Vegas seeking tire services or general auto repairs, Amigo Tires at 6809 W Charleston Blvd can be contacted at (702) 243-0438 or via mobile at +1 702-243-0438. While they offer a comprehensive list of services and can provide immediate assistance, it is strongly advised for customers to obtain clear, upfront, and itemized quotes for all services and parts before proceeding with any work to ensure full understanding and satisfaction with the final cost.

Amigo Tires Customer Reviews

Went to see how much for 2 tires and dude was quick to just spit out a price of $170 each brand new. I came home and ordered the same ones for $150 for a pair!!!! Won't be going here again...

I've worked customer service for a very long time and the guy who helped me didn't provide the best service. He got the job done, but prices was not before the moment of service. In addition, there are no prices around the building or inside the lobby. He told me that a new tire was going to be $60. When I pay for it, I was charged $143.28. He should have told me that the ADVANTA wheel was going to be a base pay of 86.99. In fact, that price wasn't even discussed. I had an emergency, my tire popped and I had to go to the nearest location and this is where I had to go. I don't mind paying for la mano de obra and the desecho de la llanta, but all that should have been discussed prior. I'm very frustrated with this. I have a receipt still and I still remember how the worker told me it was $60 for a new tire. He did ask me if I wanted an old or a new tire, which that's fine, but I choose the new tire because it turned out to be cheaper? Point is, prices were not discredited at the moment. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THAT AND ALWAYS ASK!

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought 4 "brand new" tires in March of 2023 and they are all bald and need to be replaced. I do not drive anywhere but local. 1000+ down the drain. Save your money and go elsewhere

I came here to do a brake job and not Santos, the other mechanic who according to him only speaks English when he is 40 years old..broken english and is Mexican and the funny thing is that I heard him speaking Spanish later...here they only treat well Mexicans...don't come here please...very bad customer service and they don't even look at your face when you are talking to them

Do not take your car there. They have a serious attitude problem you ask them about a question they want to play dumb with you. I asked him about a 2011 Chevy express van he want to play games with me I don’t have time for that bad customer service from the owner and his employees. Do not take your car there.
