American Tire Distributors #931 Introduce

While categorized under "Auto Repair Stations," it's crucial for local users to understand that American Tire Distributors #931, located at 3099 Finger Mill Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092, USA, functions primarily as a major logistics and distribution center, not a public-facing auto repair shop or retail tire store. This facility is a critical component of the broader automotive industry's supply chain, specifically dealing with the wholesale distribution of tires to dealers across the nation. You can reach them at (828) 428-0281 or via mobile at +1 828-428-0281.

The environment at American Tire Distributors #931 is distinctly that of a large-scale warehouse and logistics operation. This is made clear by an employee's review: "this is a warehouse, not a public store, they distribute to tire dealers nationwide." This suggests a vast facility with ample space for storing massive inventories of tires and managing the movement of goods. The operations are highly structured, with specific procedures for "unloading and getting loaded." Unloading typically occurs in the "early morning hours," indicating a well-oiled machine designed for efficiency to meet national distribution demands. There are distinct areas, such as the "shipping office at main building" and a "secondary building where Drivers are greeted by security," implying a secure and organized campus with clear pathways and protocols for commercial carriers. The location itself, near the "lincoln county parkway ext" and with proximity to a "truck stop two miles up the road," further reinforces its design as a strategic logistical hub for freight transport.

The services provided by American Tire Distributors #931 are wholesale and logistical in nature, primarily focused on the efficient movement of tires from manufacturers to independent tire dealers and other retail outlets. Their core business is tire distribution to dealers nationwide. This involves managing vast inventories, coordinating freight, and ensuring timely delivery of tires to businesses that then sell them to the public or install them on vehicles. While they don't perform direct auto repair services for consumers, their role is foundational to the "Auto Repair Stations" ecosystem, as they supply the very products (tires) that many such stations require to operate. Their operational procedures include preloading for carriers to pick up, streamlining the loading process for trucks, and efficient unloading of incoming shipments. This focus on B2B (business-to-business) supply chain management makes them a vital, albeit behind-the-scenes, player in the automotive aftermarket.

Key features of American Tire Distributors #931, as gleaned from the available information, highlight its operational excellence and internal culture. The review from an employee stating "I work here, great place to work" speaks volumes about the internal environment and management, suggesting a positive and supportive workplace. This often translates to dedicated employees and efficient operations. The detailed breakdown of their loading and unloading schedule – "unloading takes place in the early morning hours, loads are preloaded for carrier's to come and pick up as soon as they are loaded" – showcases their commitment to efficiency and minimizing downtime for their carrier partners. The distinct separation of their "shipping office at main building" with specific closing times and a secondary building for driver greeting emphasizes their organized logistical processes. Furthermore, the internal concern about drivers blocking driveways reflects a proactive approach to maintaining smooth operations and preventing disruptions, ensuring a continuous flow of goods. The simple but powerful compliment "Great bunch of people here. Keep up the good work" from another individual further underscores the positive atmosphere and presumably effective teamwork within the facility.

From a promotional standpoint, while American Tire Distributors #931 does not engage in direct consumer marketing due to its wholesale nature, its reputation within the trucking and distribution community is its primary promotional asset. The specific directions provided by the employee to other "TRUCKERS!!!" serve as an informal but highly effective form of B2B promotion, guiding professional drivers to their location efficiently. The comments about it being a "great place to work" and having a "Great bunch of people" foster a positive image within the industry, which can attract talent and reinforce relationships with business partners. For tire dealers and carriers, the promise of efficient unloading and preloaded pick-ups is a significant selling point, as it directly impacts their own operational efficiency and profitability. While not a retail store, American Tire Distributors #931's role in the Lincolnton, NC, and national tire supply chain is indispensable, providing the critical logistical backbone that ensures tires are available to the "Auto Repair Stations" and ultimately, to consumers across the country. Their phone numbers, (828) 428-0281 and +1 828-428-0281, serve as the direct contact points for their business partners and carriers.

American Tire Distributors #931 Customer Reviews

I work here , great place to work , as far as unloading and getting loaded, unloading takes place in the early morning hours, loads are preloaded for carrier's to come and pick up as soon as they are loaded , this is a warehouse, not a public store, they distribute to tire dealers nationwide, shipping office at main building closes at 5pm , then from 5 to 6 am next morning, Shipping is at the secondary building where Drivers are greeted by security. My only problem is to the drivers who stay overnight, don't block our way out by parking lot by parking in the driveway, at the second buiding entrance of lincoln county parkway ext ,some of you drivers need to know you just can't park anywhere you like, there's a truck stop two miles up the road, off star town road exit.
