Alignment Plus

The whole team at Alignment Plus was excellent. I have a 40’ triple axel toyhauler that needed new hangers, shackles, and other suspension repairs. They were able to work with me and the insurance adjuster on all aspects of the repairs needed. They ordered parts and completed the repairs in a super timely manner. They even conducted an inspection of the work completed after I took a 400 mile trip just to make sure everything was in good order. Thank you Alignment Plus San Marcos!

We brought our 1964 Ford Fairlane in for an alignment since the suspension was badly out of whack due to a bad tow job. However, when we drove it away, it was like a new car right off a dealer's lot. Ray Ross, the service manager, is truly a master mechanic, not just a parts changer (aka technician) like so many service folks are these days. The car had many problems besides the alignment issue, so we asked Ray if he could recommend some local shops to help correct all the other issues. After discussing the many problems with him, he indicated that he could do it all - a true master mechanic. We enjoyed working with him because he is not only a skilled mechanic but he is also an open, honest, and communicative guy who is fun to talk with. After solving a few problems along the way, Alignment Plus was able to install a power brake booster assembly (a no-small feat), repair the rear brake cylinders and brake lights, fix a faulty neutral safety switch, adjust the shift linkage, plus perform a most excellent engine tune-up. Alignment Plus rates are very fair, and their work is top-notch. Please don't assume they can only do wheel alignments and brake repairs. Have a chat with Ray, the problem solver, and we predict you will be pleased with the results no matter what problems your car, pickup, or heavy-duty truck has.

Took in a shot out 98 F-150 for brakes and alignment work. Let me tell ya...these guys are miracle workers. Truck had multiple issues but Ray and his team were able to address them all. From the young ladies keeping everything running smoothly to the gentlemen taking the time to show me what was replaced, my experience was overall great. I was kept informed every step of the way and Ray did a fantastic job explaining what needed to be done and why. Times are tough but you'll save yourself tons of money and headaches by coming here and getting it done right the first time. The fact Alignment Plus has been part of San Marcos since 1987 says a lot. Give them a call. Thanks again guys.

I came all the way from Phoenix to have this shop fix my car. It’s been a long couple of months trying to figure out why my car has been shaking at high speed. I drove to San Marcos to visit family with it shaking. I saw the front right tire looked angled incorrectly, so I found this shop through a google maps search and saw that they not only do cars and trucks, they also do RV’s and motor homes. They fixed all the issues in a couple hours and I had a completely uneventful trip back home. Thank you so much Ray and Alignment Plus! I definitely recommend this shop.

Overall decent experience on an alignment. Fair price. Good service. Neglected to tell us that part of their process for testing alignment includes swapping the front wheels for an outrageous additional fee so what they quoted wasn't the price when we went to pick up the car, but they took it off the bill since they didn't tell us upfront.

Holy cow! This review is really tardy. Ray and his crew did an amazing job on my classic Mercedes w115 300d. Completely rebuilt the front suspension at a reasonable price with amazing communication and well done work. What more can you ask. It's an entirely new car. Every time I get into it I'm amazed.

place is an alignment and frame specialist and they do brakes. It’s an awesome shop. I had to get critical frame repair, and Jeff the heavy duty mechanic took care of it also steering components awesome specialty shop highly recommend. This is an awesome shop, and very true on estimates.
