My son went to this location over the weekend and had them check the alternator. He was told the alternator was not putting anything out . and battery was also bad . He took it to the mechanic. It turned out only the battery was the only thing bad . But because the mechanic had to re tested tha alternator. And replaced the battery. It cost in the end over $400 dollars. If there going to advertise they do free diagnostic testing on batteries and alternators.there employees need to know what there doing. And it looks like they don't know what there doing at this store.

Unfortunately I’d like to leave zero stars. I purchased a battery from this location about two years ago in Feb and the gentleman who helped me took my old battery out and installed the new one in less then 20 mins with no problem. Fast forward to April of this year I started having issues with my car where I had to jump it a couple times. I was under the impression I was able to go to my local advanced auto parts but was told to go to the location I purchased the battery. When I got to the location I was greeted by the older gentleman with the long hair and he confirmed the warranty was still good and stated they don’t take out or install batteries but could test the battery. He stated “the battery is low but it’s ok, I’m not a mechanic but I’ve seen this issue a couple times and I believe it’s the starter.” I left and informed my mechanic of the info I was given and he tested everything and stated it’s the battery and to get a new one. Last night I called to confirm the Warrenty again since it had been a couple months and asked if I had to bring the battery in or if someone on staff could take it out and install the new one. I was told yes they would do all the work. I arrive this morning at 9:26am with my father and the same man with the long hair stated they would not be taking it out or installing. I informed him I spoke with someone last night and he acknowledged that the person who I spoke with would do it but they weren’t there and they’re not supposed to because if something happens with the battery down the line they can’t be responsible. He checked the battery again and asked who told me I needed a battery. I let him know my mechanic and he stated “you need to get a new mechanic.” I asked him what did the sign in the window mean stating “free battery installs” and he stated “fine print says for MOST cars” The manager got involved and made the situation even worse by being very rude and combative just for them to finally look at my car and state they can do it but I had to wait from 9:45am until 11:15am. Meanwhile they had no customers come in until 11am as I sat in the parking lot waiting and 4 workers on staff . I honestly feel like I was being racially profiled and will be contacting corporate. I’ll never come to this location again and would advise others not to as well.

Went here a couple weeks ago for wiper blades. The service was good. The associate was friendly. He double checked for the right size and showed me different options according to my budget. He installed the new blades. The store was clean. The parking lot was also clean and big. I would definitely return to this location.

Just recently visited the Glenside location and as always it was a beautiful experience. An individual name Bobby waited on me and he gave me stellar, top quality service. He immediately attended to my need and went over and beyond by assisting me further. If only every establishment could have employees like him
