Advance Auto Parts Introduce

Located at 840 Franklin Springs St in Royston, Georgia, Advance Auto Parts stands as a local establishment within the Auto Repair Stations category, dedicated to providing both automotive parts and related services to the community. Serving the 30662 area, they can be reached at (706) 245-6785 or their mobile number, +1 706-245-6785. As a platform catering to vehicle maintenance and repair needs, Advance Auto Parts aims to be a convenient resource for local users seeking to keep their cars running smoothly.

Based on available information, including direct customer feedback, the environment of the store can be perceived as a standard retail space for auto parts. Customers can expect to find shelves stocked with a variety of components necessary for vehicle upkeep and repair. However, one review indicates potential challenges with staffing levels, which could impact the immediate availability of assistance on the sales floor and lead to longer wait times. This suggests that while the physical environment offers the necessary products, the customer experience might be influenced by the number of employees available to attend to shoppers' needs, especially during busy periods.

In terms of services, Advance Auto Parts likely offers the core function of selling a wide array of automotive parts. This typically includes essential items such as batteries, filters, brakes, motor oil, lighting, and various other components required for routine maintenance and more complex repairs. Beyond just selling parts, some auto parts stores also provide basic services. One notable positive review highlights an instance where an employee, Dallas, went above and beyond by not only identifying the need for a new battery but also installing it for the customer. This suggests that at least some employees are knowledgeable and willing to provide a higher level of service, potentially including installation for certain products. It is important to note that such services might depend on staffing availability and the specific policies of the store on any given day.

Several features can typically be expected from an auto parts store like Advance Auto Parts. The primary feature is the accessibility to a broad selection of parts for various makes and models of vehicles. Customers often rely on such stores for immediate access to components needed for urgent repairs or scheduled maintenance. Knowledgeable staff is another crucial feature. While one review pointed out a lack of immediate assistance due to understaffing, another praised an employee's professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness. This indicates that the expertise is present within the staff, although its consistent availability might be a factor for customers to consider. Furthermore, being a physical store in the local community offers the advantage of immediate pickup, avoiding shipping times associated with online purchases. The potential for on-the-spot advice and problem-solving from staff members can also be a significant benefit for those who prefer in-person interaction and guidance.

Promotional information for specific Advance Auto Parts stores can vary and often includes seasonal sales, discounts on specific product categories, and loyalty programs for regular customers. To get the most up-to-date information on promotions at the Royston location, it would be advisable to check their website (if available), inquire directly at the store, or look for local flyers and advertisements. Auto parts stores frequently offer deals on essential maintenance items like oil and filters, as well as discounts on batteries and brake components, especially around seasonal changes or holidays known for increased travel.

Considering the available customer feedback provides a balanced perspective. One customer experienced frustration due to understaffing and the resulting lack of immediate assistance, highlighting a potential area for improvement in customer service during busy times. This individual had to resort to online research within the store, indicating a need for more readily available employee support. Another customer, however, had a very positive experience, specifically mentioning the helpfulness and service provided by an employee named Dallas, who not only assisted in identifying the correct battery but also installed it. This positive review underscores the potential for excellent service when adequate staffing and employee availability align.

In conclusion, Advance Auto Parts in Royston, GA, serves as a local resource for individuals seeking auto parts and potentially some related services. While customer experiences can vary, with some reporting challenges related to staffing levels, there are also instances of commendable service and knowledgeable assistance. For local users in the Royston area, Advance Auto Parts offers the convenience of a physical location to purchase necessary car components. To gain a comprehensive understanding of their current service capabilities, product availability, and any ongoing promotions, it is recommended to contact the store directly or visit their location at 840 Franklin Springs St.

Advance Auto Parts Customer Reviews

Understaffed. The store had 2 employees. A line. Phones ringing and one associate telling on the phone that they'd just have to wait l because he had customers. Wasn't even acknowledged until I checked out. The employees were doing the best they could. And were obviously stressed. It is not their fault that the corporation they work for cuts labor to the bone and still wants good customer service. I could have used some help. but instead I spent 20 minutes looking up what would work on the internet while in the store.

My battery quit at the food lion. A good samitarian had jumper cables, so we were able to get to Advance. Dallas assisted us and sure enough we needed a new battery. He even put it in for me. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

It’s always Ernie L. that makes me keep coming back here. He always goes above and beyond to take care of you. Another employee didn’t want to move oil to test my batteries and Ernie took off and got it done. He has tracked down parts for me in the past and always takes the time to do everything he can to help. Ask for Ernie!

I was having fuel pump issues with my F-150. I researched and found out I needed a updated fuse that was a recall. I found the part number on the website and it said that it was in stock. I called the store to make sure. Ernie answered the phone. I gave him the part number and was put on hold. After a few minutes I was told they didn't have the part and would have to order it. I needed my truck the next day, so I decided to come up the store to see what I could MacGyver together. I found the part that I needed on the shelf! Three of them! I was greeted at the counter by Mr. Ernie himself. I was irritated at his incompetence and didn't say much. During the checkout I politely asked for the Veteran Discount. This is where things went south for me. Mr. Ernie began to recount his time in the service to me. Saying that he was deployed, but "never had a job description." Every member of the Armed Forces has a MOS (even Special Forces). Then, he told me that used a MK 19 to clear doors at 100m. I was so pissed at the blatant lying I couldn't speak. This Call of Duty hero was trying to tell a veteran that he cleared doors with a grenade launcher at 100m?! I have used and loved Advance Auto for as long as I can remember. My father used them, I use them. After the Stolen Valor displayed by Ernie, I cannot come back to this location as long as he is there. I don't know if that man was hugged too much or not enough as a child, but that is unacceptable. I have told every one in the Legion about my experience. No Veteran should visit here as long as that Blue Falcon is there. Period.
