Super helpful. Able to get a part and borrow tools to fix while on a trip. The woman who helped me was super patient with me coming in and out until I fixed this issue. I don't remember your name, but thank you so much!

So i get to the store at 7:50 am. Sign on the front says they open at 7:30. I pull on the door and it’s locked. I call the store number and a lady answers and says advanced auto how can i help you, I said could you unlock the door please, she replied who is this… I said a customer i need wiper blades, she then replies yea we’re not going to open until 8:00, to which i then replied the sign out front says 7:30. She hung up.

Absolutely unprofessional, said they couldn’t return my alternator because i had tried to install it, didn’t fit so thought i could return! NOPE! Because it had GREASE on it I was not able to return it, they said it was considered used now and the truck was never turned on!!! Terrible customer service i do not recommend anybody to come here!

Asked for low beam bulbs, was sold high beam bulbs. Lights were totally different wrong model than I asked for. I requested a change or return but they refused. Im left with wrong item that i can not use and $80 out of pocket. Avoid their "professional" help at all cost. BEWARE OF THIS STORE.

This is a safety issue with this store location. Their parts delivery driver turned off Hwy 9 Boiling Springs rd onto Avon Drive . Which is a pretty busy road he went to J & V Automotive and at this time a tow truck was parked on the right side of the road partially blocking the right lane but left plenty of room to get by the tow truck the driver for Advanced Auto parts the Asheville Hwy locations driver decided to park his vehical blocking the rest of the road and myself and one other car that was infront of me. Now i also drive a large tow truck and was sticking out into the road on Hwy 9 the truck i drive weighs almost 18 K pounds empty and had anyone hit the back end it could have killed them. (Luckily no one actually hit the truck. . But myself and the car in front of me hit our horns for him to either pull up so we could get by or to pull into their driveway . But to at least gget my truck out of traffic on Hwy 9. But instead the driver stayed in his car for a few minutes i guess looking for what he was dropping off the car in front of me squeezed by his car but hit his mirror on the towtruck parked on the side of the road . His mirror closed intowards his door i believe just a scratch on it. But the driver for Advanced Auto got out of his vehical and just stared at me like i didnt matter and that other people were just an inconvenience to him his delivery and him were thr only thing that mattered to him. He then literally took 3 minutes to walk up to the front of a car parked at the rrpair shop and place his paperwork and an oil filter on the hood of the car. Double checking the paperwork and the filter and then walked half way back and turned around to do a triple check of the filter. Then he went back to his car and just sat in it waiting. At this point i had enough and put my trucks air brakes on and got out of my truck seeing me he then pulled off clearing the road. I made a call to his work location and asked to talk to the manager 3 times and the person asked why i said it was for a problem i wanted to talk to the manager about . He stated that i needed to tell him what it was about if i wanted to talk to the manager. I then told him he could either get the manager on the phone or i could drive up there and talk to the manager in person. This entire location has absolutly no respect for customers or the safety of the citizens of Spartanburg they disregard set policy and standards of their own company and obviously they dont respect safety issues or rules at all. Then about two hours after i talked to the manager . Their District manager. At least thats what he told me but he stated that he didnt want me to call anyone else about it and that he would handle it in house and would talk to the driver. But wanted to make sure I didn't talk to anyone else about this he didn't want a bad mark. Well i had already called his corporate office to let them know and had the call escalated to the Safety office and to their corporate manager. I do hope it gets handled properly . But as for me i will walk to an Orielly's before i drive to an Advanced Auto parts store. After being brushed off by their driver, manager , and a district Manager who only want to sweep it under the rug like it never happened. It tells you alot about a company. And i will NEVER shop their again. Even though its the closest parts store to my home I'll drive the extra 3 miles to ORielly's and AutoZone. Or even NAPA .
