Bill is a great guy, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He will always take the time to explain everything as best as he can so you know what the problem is and what needs to be done. He did a great job on my 2008 suburban transmission and it’s still shifting like the day it left his shop over 2 years later

Bill was insincere in making his analysis for my 2001 Mercedes-Benz C320 of the faulty transmission in “limp mode” (gears not shifting upwards). He did not even do the basic check of the transmission fluid level. Without showing evidence, he stated that the cause of the malfunction was “probably” a clogged filter in the transmission gearbox, which turned out to be false. Bill also said that it would cost me a whopping $11,500 (11.5 hours at $100/hr.) in labor costs for him to do a direct transmission replacement—rather than a sincere, thorough diagnosis and specifically targeted repairs to keep the costs low for me as the customer. This was obviously a preposterous proposition by a callous car repair shop owner focused on short-cuts to make a quick buck by fleecing the customer. Moreover, Bill wanted to be paid in cash. To persuade me, he said there would be tax added if I wanted an invoice. I insisted on a tax invoice for the $120 he charged for little results to show for it. Bill did not even provide a printout of the diagnostics he claimed to have done and provided vague feedback that lacked the expected listing of precise, itemized repairs to be done. NOT RECOMMENDED.
