A Complete Auto Introduce

Located at 638 E Main St, Peru, IN 46970, USA, **A Complete Auto** operates as an "Auto Repair Station," a designation that encompasses a broad spectrum of services and goods designed to maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles. As such, A Complete Auto positions itself as a go-to establishment for local users in Peru, Indiana, seeking professional automotive care. The core function of an auto repair station is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from standard passenger cars to larger trucks, by addressing mechanical, electrical, and other issues that can arise over a vehicle's lifespan.

The **environment** of A Complete Auto, while not explicitly detailed in the provided information, can be inferred to be a functional and equipped automotive workshop. Typically, an auto repair station at a main street address would feature several service bays to accommodate multiple vehicles simultaneously, specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, and a designated area for parts storage. There would likely be a customer reception area where clients can discuss their vehicle's issues with service advisors. The overall ambiance would be one of practical efficiency, designed to facilitate mechanical work. The location on East Main Street suggests accessibility for residents and businesses within Peru, IN, making it a convenient option for those in need of automotive services.

The **services** offered by A Complete Auto, as indicated by the category "Auto Repair Stations" and reinforced by customer feedback, are comprehensive. One notable instance highlights their capability to repair "lifter issues on her '08 Chevy truck," a task that other shops reportedly turned away. This suggests a proficiency in handling more complex or specialized mechanical problems, particularly those related to engine components. Beyond such specific repairs, a "complete auto" service typically implies a full range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks. These commonly include:

  • Engine diagnostics and repair (including issues like lifters, misfires, etc.)
  • Brake services (pads, rotors, fluid checks)
  • Suspension and steering repairs
  • Oil changes and routine maintenance
  • Fluid checks and flushes
  • Tire services (rotation, balancing, flat repair, sales)
  • Electrical system diagnosis and repair
  • Heating and air conditioning services
  • Pre-purchase inspections
This broad scope of services aims to provide a one-stop solution for vehicle owners, ensuring their cars and trucks remain reliable and safe on the road. The ability to handle diverse issues, from routine maintenance to intricate engine problems on different vehicle types like trucks, demonstrates a versatility that aligns with the "complete auto" moniker.

The **features** of A Complete Auto, based on customer reviews, highlight both strengths and areas for improvement. A significant strength appears to be their willingness and capability to take on challenging repairs that other shops might decline. The customer who had lifter issues on their Chevy truck praised the shop for being "quick, friendly, upfront and fair." This suggests that when they are engaged in a job, they prioritize efficiency, customer communication, and equitable pricing. The phrase "upfront and fair" is a key feature, indicating transparency in their dealings and a commitment to reasonable charges for their work. Another customer initially had very positive experiences, stating, "Every time I needed them they fixed it np in a hurry." This points to a feature of reliable and prompt service, which is highly valued in the auto repair industry. These positive aspects suggest that when A Complete Auto is able to accommodate a customer, they deliver satisfactory results with good customer service. However, a critical review points to a significant area for improvement: communication and follow-through. A customer reported calling for a similar issue to a previous repair and being told they would receive a callback, which never materialized, even after a second attempt and leaving a message. This experience of being "left hanging" suggests inconsistency in their customer service and communication, which can lead to frustration and negative perceptions. The review explicitly states, "Geez dude if u didn't wanna mess with it just say so it'll b ok. Leaving me hanging doesn't help me or u. Now u have a bad review. See how that works?" This highlights the importance of clear communication, even if a shop cannot take on a job immediately or at all. Therefore, while their repair capabilities seem strong, consistency in customer engagement and communication is an area that warrants attention.

As for **promotional information**, the provided details do not include any specific promotional offers, discounts, or marketing campaigns from A Complete Auto. In the absence of explicit promotional content, potential customers are advised to contact the shop directly using the provided phone numbers ((260) 330-1731 or mobile +1 260-330-1731). This direct communication can serve as the primary channel for inquiries regarding current pricing, service specials, or any first-time customer incentives that may be available. Auto repair shops often utilize local advertising, online promotions, or word-of-mouth referrals. The positive aspects of their service, such as being "quick, friendly, upfront and fair" for successfully completed jobs, could be considered an organic form of promotion through customer satisfaction. However, the negative feedback regarding communication also serves as a cautionary note. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on their services and any potential promotions, reaching out via phone would be the most effective approach for local users in Peru, IN.

In conclusion, A Complete Auto in Peru, IN, operates as a versatile auto repair station capable of handling a broad range of vehicle issues, including complex engine repairs on trucks. Their strengths lie in their technical ability to tackle challenging jobs, coupled with a history of quick, friendly, upfront, and fair service when engaging with customers. However, there are instances where communication and follow-through have been inconsistent, leading to dissatisfaction. For local users considering A Complete Auto, it is advisable to contact them directly by phone to discuss specific repair needs, inquire about pricing transparency, and confirm their ability to take on the job and provide timely updates, thus ensuring a positive service experience.

My aunt was looking for a shop to repair the lifter issues on her 08 Chevy truck. She was turned away from many other shops but Tony had no problem taking on the job and repairing the issues. They were quick, friendly, upfront and fair. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing any automotive repairs.

At first these guys were great. Every time I needed them they fixed it np in a hurry. Then I called for a similar issue and he said he was just getting back, to let him call me when he got to the schedule book. No call back. So I called again, this time is the only time I had to leave a message, but no call again. Geez dude if u didn't wanna mess with it just say so itll b ok. Leaving me hanging doesn't help me or u. Fixed my 12 volt cig lighter fine but in turn had me buy a wiper motor wich I ordered from Ebay wich was not the problem. Went elsewhere ,and got the problem fixed with a proper diagnosis. Just FYI guys there were two fuses blown. A relay and another. I had it diagnosed and had it repaired for under what you wanted to charge me to replace a motor that was not even bad.Stick to what you know instead of taking on jobs that you are not experienced with. Now I have to suck up shipping costs to Ebay to get a partial refund. Work on domestic cars ,and don't be Mr. Tinkertrain with european vehicles .ENOUGH SAID

Sent in my car for an estimate, didn’t receive a call back when was done waited all day. He said I needed a new motor due to a blown headgasket and he already found one with 32,xxx miles. Set up the appointment, dropped my car off and realized after everything was paid for he didn’t put the right motor in different year, and the miles couldn’t be provided for. Car ended up having leaks, and problems. Called and let him know, he told me there’s nothing he can do about the motor being wrong, I was still under warranty tried to set up an appointment for the leaks, never gotten a call back.
