Accessibility is a key factor for any gas station, and this Sunoco location generally fares well in this regard. The generous parking space accommodates not only regular passenger vehicles but also medium-sized trucks and trailers, making it a viable option for a broader spectrum of drivers, including those with commercial vehicles or those towing.

While some might find its exact location "tricky" to navigate initially, the general consensus is that once you're familiar with the area, getting in and out of the station is quite easy and efficient. This ease of access contributes to a smooth fueling experience, allowing drivers to quickly get back on the road without unnecessary delays, which is crucial in a fast-paced city like Albany.

Services Offered

The Sunoco at 57 Exchange Street provides a range of essential services designed to meet the immediate needs of drivers. While it primarily functions as a fueling station, it also extends its offerings to provide more comprehensive support for your vehicle and travel needs.

  • Gasoline and Diesel Fuel: The core service is, of course, the provision of various grades of gasoline, including the popular 94 Octane, which Sunoco advertises as the highest octane on the market, catering to vehicles that demand premium performance. Diesel fuel is also available for relevant vehicles.

  • Top Tier Detergent Fuel: Sunoco fuels contain Top Tier detergents across all grades. This is an important feature for vehicle longevity and performance, as these detergents help keep engines clean and reduce harmful deposits, promoting better fuel efficiency and engine health.

  • Convenience Store: Like many modern gas stations, this Sunoco includes a convenience store. While specific offerings can vary, these stores typically provide a selection of snacks, beverages, and other essential items that drivers might need on the go. This makes it a one-stop shop for both fuel and quick provisions.

  • Sunoco GoRewards Program: Customers can take advantage of the Sunoco GoRewards program, which offers loyalty benefits and potential savings on fuel purchases. This rewards program is designed to provide value to frequent visitors, helping them save money on their regular fill-ups.

This allows users of the Price Chopper supermarket loyalty card to redeem fuel savings at the pump, adding another layer of potential discounts for locals who frequent Price Chopper stores.

It is important to note, however, that based on customer reviews, the restrooms at this particular location may not always be open to the public. This is a point of contention for some customers, especially those on longer journeys who might be looking for a quick comfort break. Sunoco Customer Reviews

It's not a great spot if you're doing a long road trip and trying to fill up on gas and use the bathroom. Apparently, their bathrooms are not open to the public. Next time, I'll ask a gas station before giving them my money. Incredulous and distasteful.

Lots of parking. Space for medium sized trucks/trailers. Good service. Conpetitative gas pricing. Kind of a tricky location. But easy enough to get in and out of.

Sonny is great! The Morning guy is awful! His customer service sucks towards black people! It's not what you say it's how you say it. I stopped going there because of him. I always pay CASH but he treats me badly as if I'm on Welfare or panhandling for change! IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
