Services Offered

As a standard gas station, the Sunoco on Cooper Street primarily focuses on providing essential services for vehicle owners:

  • Fueling Stations: The core service offered is, of course, gasoline. As a Sunoco branded station, it would typically offer various grades of unleaded fuel, designed to meet the requirements of different vehicles. The availability of multiple pumps is intended to facilitate a smooth and efficient refueling process.
  • Convenience Store (Presumed): While not explicitly stated in the provided information, most Sunoco stations, especially in urban environments, feature a convenience store. These stores typically stock a range of items for drivers on the go, including snacks, beverages, tobacco products, and potentially some basic automotive necessities like engine oil or windshield wiper fluid. A convenience store enhances the utility of a gas station by allowing customers to quickly grab essentials during their fuel stop.
  • Other Potential Amenities (Likely): Many gas stations also provide additional amenities such as air pumps for tire inflation and water for radiator top-offs or windshield cleaning. While not confirmed for this specific location, these are common offerings that add value for drivers.

It is important for potential users to be aware of the serious concerns raised in customer reviews regarding fuel quality, which directly impacts the primary service offered.

Features / Highlights

Based on the provided information, the Sunoco on Cooper Street has a few points to consider when evaluating its features:

  • Convenient Urban Location: Its placement at 700 Cooper St in Camden is a significant advantage for accessibility. Being in a central urban area makes it a potentially easy stop for those who live, work, or frequently travel through Camden. In a city environment, the sheer presence of a gas station in a reachable spot is often a key factor for drivers.

However, it is absolutely crucial to address the severe concerns raised in customer reviews, which highlight significant issues:

  • Reports of "Bad Gas": Multiple customer reviews explicitly claim that the gas sold at this station is of poor quality. One customer reported that their 2010 Audi experienced issues and ended up in the shop shortly after fueling up, attributing the problem to "bad gas" and mentioning potential legal action.
  • Octane Level Concerns: Another review specifically points to problems with the 94 octane fuel, stating that their car started experiencing "timing corrections" immediately after filling up. This suggests that the fuel might either not be the advertised octane level or is otherwise compromised.
  • Severe Vehicle Damage Claims: The most alarming highlight is the accusation of the gas causing direct damage to a vehicle, leading to expensive repairs shortly after purchase. This kind of claim, if substantiated, represents a major risk for customers.
  • Negative Recommendation: As a direct consequence of these experiences, customers are actively advising others "do not get gas at this gas station."

These serious negative reports regarding fuel quality are critical factors for any potential customer to consider before choosing this Sunoco location.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a Sunoco branded station, this location might participate in national or regional promotions offered by the company. These often include:

  • Sunoco Rewards Program: Sunoco generally has a loyalty program that allows customers to earn rewards or discounts on fuel purchases when they use a specific payment method or loyalty card. These programs can provide ongoing savings for frequent users of Sunoco stations.
  • Partnerships with Credit Cards or Retailers: Sunoco occasionally partners with various credit card companies or retailers to offer additional savings or benefits when fueling up. Checking the official Sunoco website or mobile app would provide the most up-to-date information on such programs.
  • Seasonal or Local Deals: While less common at individual gas stations, sometimes there are localized promotions or seasonal discounts on fuel or convenience store items. It is always advisable to look for any signage at the station or inquire with staff if present.

Given the significant concerns about fuel quality raised in customer reviews, potential customers should exercise extreme caution and consider these reports before relying on any promotions to make their decision.

Don't buy fuel from this place. it's a total rip-off. The gas prices are everywhere, $3.50, but they are selling for $4.99. That's crazy, almost $2 extra per gallon. They even take it off the sign that showing fuel prices.
