Price was reasonable. Sunoco same price cash, debit, credit pay. No interaction with staff. The citizen, we met sent us in the wrong direction. Had a negative attitude.

This is basically the only place left open on Broadway some nights after Kennedy's closes, and they've got a decent selection of affordable stuff mixed in with the overpriced standard gas station stuff, but I get the vibe that the staff is anxious about the hood location and it's not the friendliest or in any way most pleasant place as a result. Good local businesses in Kingston, especially with little gas stations like this, are these beacons of humanity and community and goodwill that illustrate how an area can be really pleasant even when it's populated mostly by poor people and crazy people. This place strikes me more like it's run by someone who's so sick of trying to help crazy people that they no longer care about anything but protecting their business. That's their right, so I'm not gonna be a dick and one-star them, but I just don't like this gas station. If you're on Broadway and you need a gas station or a convenience store late at night when this is the only one open on Broadway, just follow Elmendorf Street from Broadway to Foxhall Ave and there's a way better one right at that intersection. It's about a 20-minute walk from this one.
