Stewart's Shops Customer Reviews

Very clean, well stocked store. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Always busy day and night, and there's always fresh coffee on.

Some of the workers have extremely poor attitudes, and act as if the customers are a burden, especially if it's near night time. Makes me feel like a nuisance by walking in the door. I understand being short staffed at times, and even stressful days. Not being able to get things done, but the customers always come first, as I myself also work in the food service industry. It is important to make them feel welcome and good, and to not be so pessimistic and annoyed.

Out of the hundreds of stewarts I've been to this is By far the most unprofessional unsanitary And most lazy stewards I've ever been to . There is never fresh coffee on the pots there's never Any full Creamer so you always gotta go and get it yourself. They make one thing of macaroni and cheese for the entire day they don't stir it so it gets all dry and hard just like the rest of the food that's next to it No gloves no hair nets no washing of the hands that I seenI would advise going to Is another store

If u don't get ur coffee in the morning forget it. It always tastes burnt in the afternoon/evening, probably cause they are still combining pots all day long that burnt. You shouldn't have to smell the pot of coffee before u poor it.

I don't typically leave reviews but I find myself compelled to. I passed through Saint Johnsville for work two to three times a week. I stopped at Stewart's to get gas and coffee around 3 in the afternoon. There's a sign on the door saying You must wear a mask there's a video playing on the screen when you walk in telling people you absolutely have to wear a mask sorry for the inconvenience. And then sitting there by the register is 5 locals with no masks on. I was at the store for about 15 minutes they weren't waiting for food. They were just sitting there hanging out socializing. As a business how are you going to allow people to loiter in your store knowing there's a pandemic going on? There are plenty of places that sell gas and coffee if you're passing from Albany to Herkimer plan on stopping somewhere else unless you don't mind being second hand exposed to every person who comes and leaves the store. It takes a special kind of person to not realize that they are compounding the risk for every single person who enters the store by sitting in their hanging out not wearing a mask like its no big deal.
