Stewart's Shops

I frequent Stewart's Shops as I travel the region as part of my job. I intended to grab a cup of coffee and a quick bite for lunch. I was checking out the food in the warmer and every single item was expired by at least an hour, some by six hours. I notified the clerk behind the counter and he didn't seem to care. I resigned to not having lunch that day and decided on just a cup of coffee. I inquired when the coffee was made and he said it was always fresh. I poured myself a cup, prepared it to my liking, paid for it, and left the store. I took my first sip once I got on the road. It was so old and burned it gave me heartburn instantly.

Stopped in to fill up. Bright and clean on inside. Bathroom was an absolute train wreck. Wastebasket overflowing. Dirt smeared sink. I’ve worked in service industry and this was not a “we got super busy”, this was just let go. I love Stewart’s. It’s my go to but this was disappointing .

went in the other night for milkshakes with my friend. the kid behind the counter Devin decided to be utterly disrespectful to all 3 of us.. myself, my friend and another local. Apparently we are all old people. when I looked at him and asked him how old do you think I am.. he said to me you don't want to know. As someone who has worked an extensive amount of time in retail.. It doesn't matter how old a customer is or what their race or gender is... What matters is they came to you to buy something. Talks to the manager today.. Apparently the kid isn't really getting a real punishment for his behavior. The kid outright said go ahead report it. I wanna get fired. Personally, I am not okay with a young employee. Verbally assaulting two females and a person of color. But apparently that doesn't matter to the manager.. He probably knew that the manager wouldn't do anything about it. And he would just be treated with kid gloves. I do not appreciate being treated in this manner. And I have come to expect far better from Stewart's. This location has maybe 2 or 3 good employees. The rest of them seem to be absolute garbage. Most of the good ones left for other stores.

One star review is not for the store but for the store manager who was working the evening shift on June 27th of 2024. Worts manager I have ever had encounter with. I have been coming to this location for the last 4 years and always had a great service. But today was a different story. It seems every small ( accualy manager was obviously very obese female) person want to be a Karen nowadays. I'm definitely not coming to this location again until the management is changed. P.S. it's scary to see that all the recent reviews(within the last 6 months) are negative and all related to people who are working there. Maybe the owner of the store should reconsider the people who are applying for the jobs and definitely not promote unsecured, poor educated, rude person to manager.

Cheeseburger soup is absolutely amazing so much flavor I really didn't expect it highly recommend and the staff here are very nice very helpful and the new bigger store is wonderful.. 👍
